"About 10 minutes later, someone finally came to greet us and take our drink orders. The waitress brought us water and my husband received his soda, but I had to wait another 10-15 minutes for my wine, meaning we had already been there for half an hour. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, and there were plenty of staff members around.
We ordered poutine and a wedge salad to start, and for dinner, my husband chose the special burger while I ordered the shells. Eventually, our two appetizers and my husband's dinner all arrived at the same time, which was disappointing, and my shells were still missing. I waited to see if they would arrive, but after about 20 minutes, I asked our server about it. She promised to check on it, but unfortunately, they still did not come. After being there for over an hour, we just wanted to leave, so we asked them to cancel our order.
There didn't seem to be a manager in sight, and no one appeared to care about the lack of service or our concerns. Our server even had an attitude, which was certainly not what we expected in terms of an explanation or attempts to improve our experience. It’s unfortunate because the food was quite good, but with such poor service, we're unlikely to return when there are so many other great places to choose from. I hope they can resolve these issues with better management support and improved server training."
