"I don't quite understand the hype surrounding this place. I brought my mom here because the menu looked appealing and the reviews were great. We arrived around 5:10 PM, not realizing they open at 5, and there was no warm welcome waiting for us. The woman with white hair seemed quite unpleasant. We requested a window seat since the weather was lovely, but oddly enough, they don’t have patio seating. They informed us that the table we wanted was reserved, which was fine. Later on, she awkwardly dropped off the drink menu on our already cramped table, and when we politely declined drinks, she appeared irritated. Throughout our visit, there was no friendly exchange, no “enjoy your meal” or “how are you” from the server—no sign of warmth whatsoever. Is the atmosphere intended to be unfriendly and moody? If so, they’re succeeding! The food was decent, but not memorable at all. We definitely didn't feel inclined to stay for dessert."
