"First off. Apparently the Skiff Bar doesn’t take Open Table reservations, as we were advised by the manager rudely several times. He assured us that our reservation wasn’t accepted and suggested we take a seat wherever we found space. Fine. No worries. When I checked my email and found a confirmation I went to show the manager so he was aware that in fact, open table WAS accepting reservations so he was aware. He was beyond rude. Ok. Excepting the manager who so poorly represents the Marriott brand that they should be embarrassed and concerned, the bartender (who was clearly overworked and overwhelmed) tried to overcome the circumstances. She was great and the food was great, despite a kitchen mixup. Also, a sincere thanks for calling us when we left cards with a check from a celebration. Did they get our number from the Open Table reservation they don’t accept?!"

"Any evaluation of the waiting staff is rude VERY TRUE, the waitress who wasn't aware at all, took it to sign a $7.00 tip on my copy when she brought me the check (no posting of the Gratity added or mandatory anywhere or even in the menu). I mean, I've never seen a waiter doing this before in my life! Even the food was edible, but not the best or even close and I'm too expensive, the plates were dirty and they served us water with things swimming in it, YUCK! I wouldn't eat here again, even if the food was free! I wish I could give zero stars. ZERO!"

"I was out for a stroll looking for some Middle Eastern cuisine when I stumbled upon this hidden gem. The restaurant is tiny and more of a takeout spot than a sit-down establishment, but don't let that fool you - the food here is incredibly delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors and the high quality of the dishes. I will definitely be returning to this place in the future. I highly recommend trying the saltah dish! The person serving me was also very friendly."

"The food was good but I was not happy with my service. Most people understand that tip isn’t included in the total and I was handing the woman my cash when she asked if I wanted my change. Of course I wanted the change, but when I said yes she kept telling me that gratuity is not included, which I repetitively replied by saying that I understood. If I gave her all my change I would have been paying her more than 35% tip. But the woman kept repeating herself as if I don’t understand, and I personally felt very offended and felt as if she kept acting as if I didn’t understand how to tip because I’m Asian. I don’t know what her intentions were, but, overall, I felt offended because she kept treating me like I didn’t know what to do when I clearly did, and she stared at me as if I was clueless."

"Went in for happy hour and ordered food and 2 drinks. Ordered and paid off the QR code on the table. The male waiter was cool delivered my food with no problem, the bartender not so much. There was another party that she forgot to make a drink for. They asked her about it and she came to my table asking me if I ordered the drinks she just delivered. When I said yes and told her that I wouldn't have taken them if I didn't order them she say Oh that's ok implying that I did something wrong by taking the drinks I paid for instead of apologizing. Also the sopas were too doughy expected crunch more so, the Tacos were better."

"This is the best Jamaican food I've ever had! They truly know how to cook! It's incredibly authentic and delicious—honestly, better than my mom's cooking (and that's saying a lot, haha). You absolutely have to try this place if you’re looking for a hearty meal with flavors that will transport you straight to the Islands. The portion sizes are also very generous, and the staff is super friendly. I love this restaurant; it’s the best money I’ve ever spent! I’d give it a 10/10!"

"Please do yourself, your taste buds, and your wallet a favor and steer entirely clear. The food at this establishment was absolutely disgusting. This is me giving this place a second chance after my chicken and rice was gross and me being promised the next time I came back the food will be better.The j pork I got this time was over cooked and ridiculously dry, and when I asked if I could simply have another item, my request was denied. Said he wouldn't be bothered, terrible staff, overprice food, and a disgusting experience overall.Ambience is not important to me overall because food should be the star of the show, but sadly that wasn't even PASSABLE"
