"I like early dinners but didn’t expect at 6.30 this place would be so packed. Good first impression!<br/ <br/ Huge selection of booze; I picked a glass of Prosecco (sorry can’t remember name). I think it was from an open bottle, not much fizz and a little lacking on the sweet bubble that I’m used to. Partner had a gin cocktail with spiced ginger. Very nice! <br/ <br/ We weren’t hugely hungry so just had a few small plates: kingfish sashimi was amazing. It was dressed with miso aioli and little pieces of crackling. I could have had another plate! The mussel escabeche didn’t do it for me. Four mussels with almost a cooked bruschetta dressing. I’m not a mussel lover, unlike my partner but neither of us loved it unfortunately. <br/ <br/ The strawberry shortcake was interesting. The hard ice cream at the base made it hard to eat. The meringue, strawberries biscuit were lovely. <br/ <br/ This place has great reviews and I can see why. Whilst we weren’t wowed completely with the experience, the service was fantastic and I will definitely come back bcz what they do, they do very well and I realise sometimes you need to try more of the menu. Neither of us were that hungry tonight so looking forward to the next visit."

"Went to this restaurant tonight after hearing this was a great place to eat. Well....eh, it was okay. Chicken Marsala was not very flavorful (pictured). I also posted the arancini picture, because it was probably the best bite of the night. Had a bite of my wife 's spaghetti and meatballs. It was just okay. Antipasta was pretty good. Beware!! There is a reason why they don 't post the prices on some of the mixed drinks. To preface my experience, I don 't hardly ever drink. I decided, what the heck, I 'll order one tonight. $18 for an old fashioned. It wasn 't even near the best I 've had. When a drink costs almost as much as an entree, there is something wrong. This place was definitely a one and done. Definitely wouldn 't go back. It was disappointing. There are many better places for a heightened value and superior flavors."

"We have been coming to Vespa for years, and we are never disappointed. They feature some great Italian food and brick oven pizzas. Their meatballs, Buffalo egg rolls, and calamari are our favorite appetizers, and for our main course, we usually split a pizza or one of their larger entrays. The mararigta and square pizzas are delicious. The square pizza is much larger if you're a bigger party. Vespa also has an awesome bar with a large cocktail and wine menu. They also have happy hour during the week and brunch on Sunday with bottomless mimosas, bloodys, and balinis. Enjoy! "The ambience was decent and the staff was good. Other than that, I can't say anything positive about this place. Our meals were lukewarm, mixed and some of the sides had no taste at all. While they have a bar and their own cocktails, if you ask for something that is not on the menu, you probably won't get it. And yes, unfortunately, even the cocktail drinks we ordered tasted awful. Bad bar staff. It also took them almost an hour to bring our food out. Two children's dishes, a chicken plate and crab cakes. I was very upset to say the least. Stay away. Go to Perry's Steakhouse next door. Exceptional food, service and bar area."

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"The starters were excellent !!!!!!!!!! (Brie Brulee incredibly delicious !!!!!!!!!) The beet salad and garden salad were refreshingly cold, crispy, very tasty and an excellent bite. The appetizers? Not so much: crab and prawn noodles had juicy prawns, but the homemade rigatoni were NOT cooked ... like raw batter. The taziki sauce was UNDER everything on the gyro platter and difficult to access to spread over the pita / meat / greens combo and the meat was soft and crumbly, almost like poorly mixed meatloaf. The presentation of the top plate itself was eye catching, but the arrangement made it difficult to assemble everything. The salmon was amazing, as were the potatoes and beets, but the greens underneath it all were too tough and not tasty at all. The blueberry panna cotta was tasteless, but the mousse cake had a heavenly crust. Coffee was strong, tasty, had no bitterness. I would recommend Thea's for fabulous starters and a fantastic beet salad, but the starters left a lot to be desired."

"It's alright, I've gotten a slice here a few times and gave the pasta one or two tries out of convenience because I live really nearby. In my experience the pastas have been dry, but I don't know if that's because I would go in the evening or even relatively late. I guess it could be called a little pricey, but mostly because I don't feel like there's anything too particular about it. I will say though, you are able to cut one slice into two, so if you're sharing with someone that's nice."

"I met my family at this restaurant for my birthday. It was highly recommended by close friends. I definitely suggest calling ahead to make a reservation as the restaurant fills up quickly during the dinner rush. The restaurant is well put together and has a great atmosphere. The drink menu is impressive as well. The food was good, but it didn't quite impress me. Our waiter was friendly, but seemed a bit distracted and disappeared for long periods of time. We might give this place another try in the future, but for now, we have many other restaurants we want to try first."

"Treated very poorly by management due to dispute with another table about opening up tent which was shut when we arrived, which we were comfortable with, and made us quite cold after it was opened. Understand the complex issues, but was handled very poorly by manager? owner? when he finally arrived to discuss with us minutes after we first complained. No apology, no offer to move us to another table, simply rude response that showed no consideration to our concerns. Perhaps the other party were regulars, it was our first time there. "I used to love Dublin’s when they were out on W republic Rd. Even downtown. I hadn’t been there in about a year or longer and I chose it for a work lunch and unfortunately we were all disappointed. The nachos we ordered barley had anything on the chips. The wings we ordered 1/2 pound and it was only 5 small party wings for $15 and they were over fried to where our jaw was doing a lot of work chewing. The blue moon chicken was not seasoned or battered the way I tasted them last time. They also forgot to prep the carnitas tacos so people in our group had to order something else. Not sure what happened, but was disappointed because their prices are also on the high end for bar food. The fries were great though and we had a great server!"

"Hostess told me we didn’t have a reservation. I showed her my app that I had a reservation, showed where I wrote “Looking forward to meeting Evan Engram” and I showed her my received text and my text confirming my reservation. She went to get manager and he said he cancelled Open Table. Hostess sat us at a table outside the football signing room. I was pretty upset especially since I made these special reservations for the meet and greet of Giants football player Evan Engram weeks ago! Sangria was tasty. Dinner came out quick. Turkey burger was tasty. Toasted bun with “vibe” written on it was cool. Pizza was good, but extremely cheesy. Manager came over to the table to apologize again. My son waited in line with another boy for meet and greet. Football player was late. Tinted doors closed and I couldn’t see my son from our table. I walked in the closed room to wait with him and suddenly someone asked if we had a ticket. What ticket? No one ever mentioned a ticket! We had to get out of the line and purchase a ticket from the front of the restaurant and get back on the line. All in all, after all this chaos, the meet and greet with Evan Engram for my son made it all worthwhile. We even stayed to order a Brownie sundae which was yummy. We will be back, but we won’t be booking our reservation with Open Table for this restaurant ever again."

"We came for my boyfrienda birthday. It was extremely disapppointing. The food was awful and over priced. There was also limited selection. The caesar salad was terrible and full of the ier yellow lettuce that made it bitter. I hadnt been to the restaurant for years and it has significantly gone down hill. I was speaking to an acquaintance and he had the same opinion.Service was ok but slow. Actually the busboy forget to give one of us water and when we asked for it, he argued with us and said he did give it.Truly was a waste of moey but more importantly ruined the birthday celebration."

"This was our first date night since moving to Gainesville and we 'd heard great things. We arrived around 7pm and there were a couple open seats at the bar. I do need to note that classes don 't start for another week, so it will undoubtedly be busier on the weekends once school is in full swing. Anyways, we started the night with cocktails. I really enjoyed the Lavender BlackBerry Martini. It was refreshing and not overly sweet. We started with the charcuterie board. There was salami, roasted pork sliced sausages. I 've never been served roast pork on a charcuterie platter before, but the bites were perfectly tender and the apple dipping sauce complimented it perfectly. For my main, I ordered the Caesar salad with beef tenderloin skewers. My husband ordered the duck. My salad was really delicious and they accommodated my request for only beef and no shrimp, which I was happy about. My husband loved the duck he said that it was cooked perfectly medium rare. His dish included both wings and the duck breast. He said he would order it again. For dessert, I ordered the Bananas Foster Cheesecake. Wow! The brown sugar rum sauce was heavenly. The crust of the cheesecake was out of this world. I will definitely order that again! All in all, a delicious date night. The only complaint was that service was slow despite there being several open tables the bartenders weren 't especially attentive to us. Hope to come back and update my review to 5 stars."

"Now, about the delivery. The food arrived quickly and was still hot when it got to us, despite living about 15 blocks away. Usually, takeout arrives in a bit of a mess, but these folks really impressed us. The food was packed carefully so nothing was squished. They used sturdy containers and even sealed the sauces, preventing any spills or leaks. Overall, we are definitely going to order from Yeeroh again, and we might even pay a visit in person to enjoy the food on-site!"
