"Le Peer Hotel is a charming boutique hotel with lovely rooms, great amenities, and a convenient location. However, be sure to bring a white noise machine. Seriously. Every morning at 6:30 AM, a full construction crew arrives to work on the new hotel being built next door. The noise is quite disruptive, with hammering, banging, dropping rebar, the horn of a large crane, and the construction crew shouting to each other. This continues until about 4 or 4:30 PM. At night, the frequent sound of sirens from nearby Cedars Sinai adds to the overall noise. While the nighttime disturbances might have been manageable, the daytime clamor was jarring and made it difficult to get any rest. I hope the construction next door wraps up soon, but it looks like there are still at least six months of work left. If you're considering a stay here, you might want to inquire about the construction situation before making your reservations. It was quite challenging."
