"The Madonna Inn 's Gold Rush Steak House is an incredible space; it 's kitsch on steroids and I love it! The food, however, is incredibly expensive and mediocre at best. I had the chicken which was dry and overcooked with a ton of sweet bbq sauce that did nothing to mask the dryness of the chicken. The baked potato looks like it had been baking for about 2 days. The house salad was drenched in vinaigrette to the point that all the lettuce was soaked and wilted. Even the fresh baked rolls are dry and bland. On the plus side, the service is excellent and the live music and dance floor are delightful. I recommend going for drinks and dessert to avoid paying for subpar food."
