"Inside, we were greeted by a pleasant hotel reception area, followed by a stylish bar. Our table offered a clear view of the open kitchen, where a variety of clothesline bacon appetizers were being prepared. The ambiance was modern rather than the traditional charm I remembered from the Manor, but it was still inviting. Overall, the food was quite good, and our server was exceptional. The cocktails were fantastic as well. The clothesline bacon was flavorful, though it had a few burnt spots—something we’re not particularly fond of, but the taste was still impressive. My son declared it the best bacon he had ever tasted. Unfortunately, the margherita pizza was a letdown; it came out as just a plain cheese pizza. Our waitress explained that they typically don’t add basil for kids, but we requested extra basil. After trying it, we decided to keep it to avoid wasting food. The flavor was fine, but it seemed to have been made with shredded cheese rather than fresh mozzarella, lacking the delightful pools of cheese surrounded by sauce that I expect from a margherita pizza. Additionally, we were accustomed to fresh basil leaves, rather than the pesto sauce they used. Things improved from there, as my cocktail was outstanding. I chose the Quattro Quattro, made with Old Forester 100 proof bourbon and Cynar Italian bitters, which provided a fresh and delicious twist on a Manhattan. The 20 oz dry-aged ribeye, while possibly slightly smaller than advertised (perhaps around 15 oz?), was delicious. The sides we ordered—potatoes and asparagus/mushrooms—were excellent, although the Brussels sprouts were a bit overcooked but still packed with flavor. The steak was cooked closer to medium than the intended medium rare, but it remained tender. It came with a memorable tangy sweet sauce known as B1, a patent-pending steak sauce by David Burke. As mentioned earlier, our server was fantastic—very attentive and even removed the pizza from our bill, which I assured her was unnecessary, but she insisted it was the right thing to do since we weren’t happy with it. Overall, we enjoyed a lovely meal for the three of us, with plenty of leftovers, all for under $200."

"Tried this restaurant about 5 years ago and it was terrible, the chicken was rubbery, there was just nothing about anything we had that was better than mediocre. Although the dessert we had was good. We decided to give it another try after someone was raving about the short ribs. We had to get a reservation months in advance. I was expecting the food to be much better since it 's always so busy. I 'll start with the positives, service was good, food came out fairly quickly, they serve pretty good bread with both butter and olive oil dip, and all of that was really good. The french fries are fresh cut and those were also good, although the garlic and gorgonzola dipping sauces were quite bland. The key lime pie was fantastic although it was a pretty small piece for $12, extremely overpriced! Everything on the menu is overpriced. They had a sweet potato maple bourbon bisque that was really great, creamy texture and great flavor. My friend got the pork belly but was unimpressed. I was so excited for the short ribs, the waiter said they had been braised all day and that it 's a customer favorite. It was so disappointing, I went to cut into it with my fork expecting it to be tender and fall apart and it was so tough I had to use a knife to cut it, it was not tender. Flavor was mediocre. But the texture was extremely disappointing. The mashed potatoes were decent, nothing to write home about...as was the asparagus. Will definitely not be back, way overpriced for disappointing quality. If you want delicious, fork tender, fall off the bone, melt in your mouth, short rib... go to vault@237. response to owner* actually the waiter said maybe it was a bad cut or fatty that WASNT the issue. they were not cooked properly to be tender. why would i wait around for you to cook them for another 30 minutes til they were as tender they shouldve been in the 1st place?! as for bringing in water bottles we arent interested in drinking chemical tap water...i review restaurants regularly and you are the only person that has ever said a word about it...so no, most restaurants do not have that policy. you say you allowed us, as if you think you have the right to control if people drink their own filtered water. thats absurd!"

"This place is a joke. I recently went here for a Romanian concert, singers were the only good thing. Parking is terrible to start off. My wife's food was served ice cold and 15 minutes before mine, the server didn't even take it back to reserve is hot and with mine, the only reason my wife kept it was because she was starving and there was a cold salad on the plate, very unprofessional. She also didn't make the manager aware or if she did he never stopped by about it. The manager is also the owner, Stan. My wife and I got drinks at the bar because the service was so slow and tipped 20% like we always do for good service. The man across from us ordered 3 different entrees because the server kept coming back and saying they were out of what he ordered....the special limited menu had about 5 things on it and this was 30 minutes after they opened for this event, what a joke. Bad management. Not to mention the food even made sick, awful. So when the server finally brought our check 15 minutes after we wanted to leave as the event had come to an end, I told her that they should take the cold entree off the bill. The server came back and said you didn't return it! So I did not leave a tip and I wrote why on the slip. We were on our way out and Stan stopped me and confronted me about not leaving a tip and said that Don't come back, we don't need customers like you I could not believe being treated with such disrespect in front of my wife and friends. I was in the service industry and was stiffed plenty of times, I never EVER said anything to the customer as a server/bartender, much less would a manager/owner say anything either. This is just absolutely absurd the way Stan handled this. Do yourself/s a favor and give this place a pass. Cold food, poor service, terrible management/ownership."
