"I have to say, I was really disappointed with this restaurant despite all the positive reviews. After spotting fried chicken livers on the menu, I was eager to try it during lunch. At the time, we were the only customers, and while our food took a while to arrive, I understand that good meals take time to prepare. However, when our dishes finally came out, I quickly realized why there was such a delay: my fried chicken quarter and livers were overcooked and tough, which is pretty hard to do with dark meat. The crispy skin was nice, but I had to pick off quite a few unpleasant feathers. The special blue sticky rice was dry and lacked seasoning, and the only chili sauce option available was too sweet. Thankfully, they had sriracha on the counter as an alternative. My girlfriend liked her fried gai KMG (kao mun gai), but I thought the $3 surcharge for adding a fried egg was a bit much. I might have considered giving this place another shot, but when my girlfriend ordered a milk tea with whole milk, the staff told us they only offered non-dairy milk. It didn’t come across as a simple “Sorry, we’re out of milk. Would you like a non-dairy option?” Instead, it felt like they never had dairy milk available, which wasn’t communicated at all. Overall, there were just too many issues for me to consider this experience a one-time mistake."
