"The Thai chicken curry with green sauce is my absolute favorite! Everything I’ve tried there has been delicious, and the delivery is always well-packaged and beautifully arranged. They offer an excellent variety of options that are homemade and tasty, all at an unbeatable price."

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"So me and a friend went in last night for a quick bite. Not a busy night there at all. We ordered shrimp pakoras which were good and got a few indo-Chinese dishes or so we thought. The noodles were loaded with oil and no flavor whatsoever. It's indo-chinese with no green onions or garlic. It tasted more like I would get something at the food court in the mall. I asked for cut lemons which didn't come. The chutneys were bought after the pakoras since we asked for it. $13 for a glass of wine . Between the two of us I don't feel it was worth my money. They used to be good but not anymore. I would prefer they work on getting better chefs and improving their menu options."

"I used to order from here quite frequently and enjoy the food. However, I?ve had major issues with the delivery service (delays). The last time I ordered through the website, the food never came and I was not refunded. I called several times andwas told different things?that the system was down, that they were going to send the food, etc. Ultimately, the food neverarrived and I was told I would get refunded the $90 I spent. I?ve followed up a few times and still have not been refunded. After seeing the reviews about the cc tips, this sort of seems in line with the management. I would not recommend orderingdelivery."

"After spotting this place when it first opened, I finally got the chance to visit—and what a delightful experience it was. We came during Oakland Restaurant Week and kicked off with a bite-sized piece of watermelon soaked in spices, which was absolutely delicious. Next, we tried the Bo La Lot, a dish featuring Angus beef rolled with spices and fermented anchovy sauce, all wrapped in betel leaves—simply outstanding. Then came the garlic noodles with barbecued shrimp, which were fantastic. For dessert, we had a decent crème brûlée, though I immediately wished we had ordered the dessert we saw go by another table—a tempting mix of ice cream, fruit, and chocolate sauce that looked amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. My only gripe was the music; there were stretches of about ten minutes where a deep bass would rumble repeatedly, becoming monotonous and somewhat distracting. Not sure what it added to the ambiance. Enjoy!"

"I love going to Indian restaurants when they label the vegan items! This place does just that!!! Thank you!!! In the menu introduction there is devoted language to vegetarian food- yes! So, though not a veg place, if I want vegan Indian food in Bethesda I will come here. As for the people and the decor- lovely attentive people. The chef came to chat with me a couple times to see if I had questions or concerns and how the food tasted. Nice touch Chef Anil! All my vegan concerns were addressed, which is more than I can actually say for some other area vegetarian establishments that make me feel out of place! It's decor is new and fresh, not heavy or antiquated. While here, I felt that everything was made freshly. Nothing was cold or old in flavor. The mulligatawny soup was a piping hot delicious blended lentil soup that hit the spot to set the tone for the meal. Pakora are usually only mediocre at best, but these were like crispy deep fried battered spinach popcorn! Try it! The samosas had a hearty filling with more depth than most. The curries are good, but they always feel heavy- here though, they do not over salt like some other places. The one thing that didn't agree with my palate was the dosa. I liked that they are all vegan, but I think the one I picked maybe was not the right one, and, well, the dosa part was a bit bland. I also wish there was a vegan spinach entree on the menu, but I believe if I asked, the chef would've made it vegan!!! Overall, as an Indian restaurant with vegan options, it's a great choice. You can be confident that what you order will be vegan. Because it had meat, 4 cow max, but I can't say they're perfect- yet. As a new restaurant, with time, I may return and love the dosas and ask for spinach! Then maybe 4 cows will be met!"

"In a word, we had a great first experience. Bea our waitress/owner was delightful. My wife and I travel for work and know our Thai food. Surin is among the top 4 in our travels from CA, to New Englang and many points in between. If you have never experienced Thai, you must. So many different flavors! Don't ever worry about a dish being too spicy. Most places have a simple 1 through 5 chilies. 5 being hottest. Ask Bea and she will make it right. We loved both of our dishes which had generous amounts of seafood in one, and duck in the other. Also, you have to try the chicken Satay. It is a marinated skewer of chicken with a peanut dipping sauce that perhaps was the best we have ever had. Surin also has a good beer and wine selection."

"We just planned to go to this restaurant and never had an expectation to get great food. The moment we entered and got greetings was so great...we ordered the food again the expectation was nothing but once we started having food... Amazing, super and great are the right words to explain the food... We ate like anything and said thanks to the owner/manager for keeping the super taste without burning the belly. Keep it up . If you are reading this comment you must try the food here once for sure. You will love it."

"The food is always fresh and service is second to none. They fill your water before it’s empty and take the dirty plates as soon as you’re done. This is my favorite Indian restaurant. I’ve tried a couple others, but always come back to New Krishna. Prices are reasonable and the buffet is delicious!! My husband and I go there about once a week and they always remember us. Highly recommend."

"This is not my top choice for curry, but it was quite tasty. I was hoping for more flavor in the Garlic Naan. The spicy Bullet Naan didn't appeal to me because of the unique taste of green chili, but that's just a personal preference. The Saag Paneer was delicious, and the Samosa was pretty good. I was happy that they provided a side of Onion Relish, but I wish they had given me more. Overall, it was a pretty good experience."

"I recently visited Essence of India, Indian restaurant and had an exceptional dining experience. The food was simply amazing, with all vegetarian dishes that were bursting with authentic flavors. Every dish was a delight, showcasing the rich and diverse culinary traditions of India. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the meal. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious vegetarian Indian cuisine."

"As you can see from the photos, this restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I had reserved a seat by the fireplace which was so cozy on a damp, cold, New England day. There is a large selection of food and drinks to choose from. I got theThali feast which consisted of a kale and cucumber salad, garlic naan, rice and two sauces. One was sweet and the other was tomato based. It comes with three sides so I ordered chicken, steak and lamb kabobs. I found it a little difficult to understandmy server but she got the job done and was very friendly. This is my second visit to this restaurant and I will definitely comeback again to sample more of the menu."

"Do not dine here for Denver Restaurant Week. They tried to serve us a different menu. We showed the the one on the Denver Restaurant Week web site. The server argued with us a long time but finally relented to serve the correct menu. EXCEPT, the restaurant week menu offered a free bottle of wine. The server refused to serve it to us in the restaurant. Again a long argument ensued and all that she would do is give us a warm bottle of white wine that could be opened at the table. After the first course came out, it took 10 minutes to get any silverware and napkins. When you consider that almost every page of their menu features expensive alcoholic drink options, I suppose their strategy was to force us to pay extra for drinks! We will not be going back."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. Unlike many other Vietnamese places, the dishes here featured a unique and delicate herbal flavor that was both distinctive and memorable. The beef pho was served hot and packed with flavor, showcasing a rich beef broth that was especially delightful in the cooler weather. While the portion of assorted beef in the soup was generous, I did find the broth to be a bit oilier than anticipated. The bo bun hue had a nice kick to it, complete with a well-prepared pig knuckle and a broth infused with herbs and spices that we found quite satisfying. The beef wrapped in grape leaves was tender and flavorful, adding to the overall experience. For drinks, the Vietnamese coffee was strong and met my expectations, while the mango smoothie offered a refreshing contrast to the heat of the bo bun hue. The service was decent, and the atmosphere was clean and well-maintained, with the walls showcasing a commendable collection of awards. All in all, it was a delightful dining experience. - Service: Dine-in - Meal type: Lunch - Price per person: $20–30 - Food: 5 - Service: 4 - Atmosphere: 4"

"Service was fast and prices were par for the course. Chicken kabob dinner with rice and salad was pretty good. Chicken was great. Rice was kinda boring and under seasoned for me. Salad was salad lol. The house greek dressing is what you'd expect. Only reason I'm not giving a 5 is my steak and cheese was definetly forgotten about... the steak was almost black and had a crunch to it. More cheese might have saved it but it was a fail. They are worth another try, I'm thinking it was just a fluke."

"We (party of 5) essentially had the place to ourselves on a Thursday evening so we felt super safe dining indoors. The place was recommended by my friend who used to dine at Big Suchir 's original location (inside a grocery store). They have your standard menu items as far as Indian restaurants go but there 's a secret menu item that this place is known for (must try). The Bajra na rotla (pearl millet roti) is served with jaggery, ghee, garlic chutney and a plethora other sides in a metal tray. Here are the other accompaniments (described from my POV): Baingan Bharta mashed eggplant with onions, peppers, tomatoes, spices, etc. Tomato Dal tomato base soup with crunchy noodles Kadhi milk based soup made of chickpea flour, curd and jaggery Khichedi spicy lentils and rice Chaas yogurt drink (lassi) The flavors, all very distinct, work well together. It 's also very filling! Expect that it will take some time (30 min) to get your food as these items are made fresh. There aren 't too many places that do this meal well from what I understand so it 's worth the trip if you 're adventurous."

"Before the wedding, Ricky was incredible, collaborating with me, my mom, and my husband to customize the menu to fit our needs perfectly, always taking our feedback into account. Additionally, he played a crucial role in crafting unique, exceptional, and mouthwatering menus for each event. On the wedding day, I was taken aback by the stunning presentation of the food; the live stations were a highlight! After the wedding, friends and family have continued to rave about the food, with several even asking for Ricky's contact information for their own events—an unmistakable sign of appreciation! My mom and husband are both quite particular about their food, and their complete lack of complaints, combined with their constant praise, speaks volumes about the quality provided. Thank you, Ricky! We will definitely be reaching out for all our future events—you've won us over as lifelong customers! If you're considering hiring Ricky, just think about what you want for your event. If you seek delicious food, unique presentations that will leave your guests in awe, and the assurance that everything will run smoothly, hiring Ricky should be your top priority."
