"Not all locations are created equal. I used to order from Fired Pie near my workplace, and everything was always fresh and plentiful. They must have been constantly restocking due to the high volume of customers. However, this particular location was just okay. I had to go there right after I got home. For now, I won't completely judge it based on this one visit, although it did leave an impression.
While I was there, the place was pretty empty, but I noticed two guys working. It looked like some business was taking place, as there were work papers and a laptop out. I didn’t observe any handwashing or glove changes, so I’ll just assume they took the necessary precautions. One guy prepped my pizza while the other, with whom I had a brief chat, cooked it. He topped my pizza with basil and oregano.
I opted for the "build your own pizza" option - marinara, cheese, a small amount of mushrooms, garlic, and sun-dried tomatoes. The end result was strangely salty—not bad, but definitely just average. It wasn't burnt, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations either."
