"I used to absolutely LOVE ruby river here in reno, they had some of the best steaks in town for a great price. However the last couple of years of going it has been extremely hit or miss. They got rid of the steak soup which was one of the best sides ever which was sad to see go. The steaks sometimes you get a great steak perfectly seasoned, other times you get a horrible cut that should have never left the kitchen. The biggest problem here is they always rush you. I always order an app, a soup, and a steak with another side. It never fails, 2 bites in to the appetizer the soup shows up, then a few minutes later the entree so you have a whole soup and a decent amount of an appetizer still on the table. I understand it's not fine dining, but serving for a better part of my life this is definitely the worst meal pacing I have encountered."
