It seems like they do not agree with America enforcing its laws, but they are still willing to accept American money. As a result, I have chosen to spend less of my money at their restaurant."

"Always a good time. We have been going to Emmys for about 7 years now, and it is still one of the best places in this area to eat. The German potatoes and the fresh salad are authentic and great. The atmosphere is not pretentious, but is comfortable. And the staff is always friendly and outgoing. But the best thing about Emmy's is their Prime Rib. It may be the best I've ever had consistently, and I have ordered prime rib in at least 15 states across the country. About the only thing I can say that they could do better is they could have a special on their beer and drinks. But the rest of the menu items are very reasonably price. Hope they don't change like some places and start scrimping on portions. I don't think that will happen because they seem to be the same each time. We will continue to go back as long as we can. "This place is always busy everytime I drive by, so I decided to stop in and give it a try. First thing that caught my attention is the flowers on the way in. They're red, matches the tomato icon and sets the ambiance. Hostess greeted us warmly with a smile. We were fortunate to get a table, being quarter past noon and all. Waitress was quick to bring us a third set of silverware and take the drink orders. The water tasted clean, didn't need lemon. French onion soup is a staple for me and it didn't disappoint. Broth was flavorful, the garlic croutons were an interesting touch. You could taste the browning from the boiler on the cheese, which was stringy enough to make thread sized pieces out of. Got the Bermuda salad for a main course. My Mom got the Reuben, which I would have ordered if she didn't. Never seen anything like this Reuben before. Thing was like 4 inches thick, which is a lot for an open face Sandwhich. Our friend tried the philly cheese steak. Quality steak meat from end to end. Prices are middle of the road. Not the cheapest spot but definitely not the most expensive (this is Toga we're talking about here). The owner was walking around socializing with people. Very friendly guy, sets the tone for the place. Great atmosphere to eat at. There wasn't an open seat in the place when we left, a little after one. Try this place if you haven't."

"Once settled, we perused the menu and were pleasantly surprised to find a special offer of fish and chips with a drink for £15. The meal was well-cooked, and the haddock was delicious. I must praise the waitress for her accommodating nature - she even adjusted the music volume for us without hesitation. The value of the meal was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We did find the price of our second drink to be a bit high, but we understand the need for businesses to make a profit. In the future, it may be a good idea for the restaurant to light the fire in the dining area on cold days to create a warmer and more inviting atmosphere. Despite this small suggestion, we still plan on returning to this lovely restaurant with its attentive staff. On a warmer day, it would be best to take advantage of the special offer and enjoy your meal with a drink."

"We stopped there for a drink one afternoon, but ended up having an early dinner, mostly made of appetizers!Noticing that we didn’t know too much about Colombian food, the bar tender voluntarily offered so many explanations and suggestions.We started with “Empanadas de Carne” (which unlike the Argentinian ones are made of cornmeal), a couple of orders of “Arepitas con Hogao” (cornmeal cakes served with a creole sauce) and continued with “Chorizo con Arepita” and “Chicharron” (good, but a little too fat for my taste).Their prices are very low: even the imported Colombian beers are cheaper than any US beers at the more known bars/pubs.We’ll definitely go back one day to try their entries!"

"A hidden gem in Greenpoint, this restaurant offers delicious gourmet pasta. We thoroughly enjoyed the ricotta agnolotti with truffle butter sauce and the strozzapreti featuring rabbit legs and pecorino cheese. The roasted cauliflower with pine nuts and golden raisins was also phenomenal. However, the tiramisu was slightly too sweet and lacked sufficient coffee flavor. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was delightful, free from any pretentious crowds. The interior struck a perfect balance between cozy and spacious, with comfortable bar seating."

"The worst place ever !!! Attended a work event that was paid for when we arrived they tried to charge $45 each person but the space was paid for before hand. they were very disorganized. Then we had 2 hour open bar, when asking for a mojito they said we couldn’t have any flavor it had to be regular because that’s what the company paid for which was a lie. The company paid for hookahs as well, they told us they didn’t which again was a lie. ALL the workers kept apologizing but it’s like why don’t you find out before saying no. Music sucked very much just Spanish, food was very basic and not even tasteful. It was the worst experience ever !!!! For a work event that they had to receive a lot of money for I would not recommend this place"

"A disappointment really. The front of house staff were friendly enough and the venue is in a lovely little village. However, you really let yourselves down with your food offering. I ordered an ultimate burger, and have to say that it was anything but ultimate. The 3 burgers it came with were burnt and hard, and were sandwiched between cheap processed cheese. There was nothing ultimate about it, it was a huge disappointment. There were a handful 10 15 chips with it. The chips were nice but there wasn’t nearly enough of them. On top of the really poor quality food, it took an eternity to come, over half an hour. I was really surprised given that our table was pretty much the only one that had ordered food."

"Looking to try a new place that had 7 mares soup was our mission today. We found a few places and this place caught our attention. We were iffy about it because the location is not the best and parking is limited due to their businesses around but we stayed to try it out. We ordered a few items: molcajete, ceviche tostada, 7 mares soup, and complimentary chips salsa. I'd say that the flavor of the food could be improved as well as the presentation of the meals. A little bit of love and care for the food should improve the quality of the food by a lot! However, $59.51 after the food did its job and we were full by the end. Unique note: The molcajete had bacon which was a first for me. Would I go back and recommend to others? Probably not but everybody has different tastes. Check them out!"
