"This is a great casual restaurant. If you want some game type dishes vs. just the fried catfish and chicken, you have come to the right place. The catfish is good BUT….They have duck confit on the menu. It is very good. And the quail can’t be beat either. My brother is a hunter and he said it was the best place to come by far for duck, frog legs and quail. It is really great for the ‘all your can eat nights’. My favorite and my brother’s is the all you can eat quail night on Tuesday.My wife loves the two big lobster tails, and they are cooked to perfection. You won’t get lobster tails as good as these anywhere else in KC and you won’t find quail or frog legs anywhere like this or as good. They are cooked to perfection.When you throw in the white beans and ham along with the cold slaw and hush puppies, that are served prior to your meal, you also have a really good deal to boot."
