"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"Excellent! I am vegan and our waitress Amanda checked every item I was considering to make sure it was vegan friendly. I had the pasta with marinara and roasted portobello mushrooms. Very good! I also had marinated mushrooms and peppers. My dining mates has veal dishes and enjoyed them. For sure I will go back. Of note Amanda was the best waitress we have had in a long time."

The food, wine, and live music were simply amazing. The owner, Romeo, came out personally to introduce himself and made us feel warmly welcomed in his restaurant. It really showcased what a wonderful person he is. We felt special and like part of the family. Whenever I'm in New Jersey, this is my go-to place for pizza. "We ordered drinks that never arrived, and it took our waiter a full 15 minutes to remember that we wanted to see the dessert menu. However, he had no trouble bringing us the bill the moment we finished our meal. It's a shame because this place had so much potential. It feels like they couldn't keep up with their earlier success. Even the quality of the food has changed; everything tasted overcooked and reheated. I won’t be coming back."

"This evening, I ordered delivery, and oh my goodness... the food was fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised to find such juicy, ripe red tomatoes on our sandwich, especially at this time of year. When I placed my order, the woman was very attentive and wanted to make sure I got my sandwich just right, even clarifying what a "grunder" was. It arrived exactly as I had requested and tasted wonderful! We've been ordering from Italian Delight for a few years now, and they've never let us down! Keep up the excellent service and delicious food!"

"Their new space is really beautiful and our food was good nothing special, but totally serviceable. We ordered caprese salad and I was surprised to see it served with picked tomatoes rather than fresh. I found the service underwhelming at our last visit it somehow felt rushed but also very slow. When we arrived, our table was covered in crumbs, which the host brushed off onto the floor which his hand. This resulted in the seats also getting covered in crumbs, so we had to clean those up too. Two of us ordered drinks a cocktail and a wine midway through the dinner the cocktail drinker asked a busboy about ordering a beer; he said he'd get the waiter, but then a while later the waiter just showed up with another of the same cocktail AND another serving of wine which he just started pouring. Nothing egregious, but just enough that it didn't feel like a relaxing night out."

"We did a Friday night pizza at my crib and we ordered a Brooklyn pie and there basically garbage pie. The Brooklyn pie was crushing thin Sicilian crispy like crust and mighty tasty sauce to compliment a great pie. Next up was there house special Napolitano topped with everything but the friggin kitchen sink. All in all will be going back for shizzel!!"

"We dine here 2-3 times a month and have never been let down. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Our favorite dishes are the manicotti and linguine with clams. We often share a tiramisu to complete our meal. Their pizza is an excellent choice for takeout, featuring a fantastic crust topped with plenty of cheese. On Fridays, there’s a piano player who entertains the crowd with a variety of songs from Sinatra, the Beatles, and TV themes. We really love this restaurant and wish it great success. We highly recommend it to all our Facebook friends!"

"First time visit. Great experience. Food was superb italian without traveling to Italy ! Had entree Salmon Palermo which was the best salmon dish with flavors and seasoning permeating the salmon. the sauce was delicious. (I have multiple allergies so I can only eat fish, no beef or chicken, in my diet for meat protein so I eat seafood alot. The bread rolls were very good. The restaurant is a wonderful locally owned restaurant with an on-site owner operator and it shows in the restaurant. Loved the soft background music. Truly enjoyed our dinner entrées, sparkling wine choice, and the dessert selection. I recommend this restaurant. The menu pricing reflects the quality of the dishes and food used to prepare them. Well worth it. Noticed several families dining with children and grandchildren that were enjoying fine italian food and were so interested in eating good food they were not on any distracting electronics nor were any diners in rhe restaurant. How refreshing!"

"The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti. How do you mess up something simple like salsa? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!"

"The restaurant has a pleasant and quiet ambiance, but the food is not worth the price. They offer a variety of vegan pizzas, and I tried the vegan broccoli rabe. Unfortunately, it was quite bland and oily, lacking the expected flavor. I did not enjoy the cashew cream topping either. The personal-sized pizzas are priced at $18, which I considered to be too high for the taste. Overall, I am glad I gave it a try but do not plan on returning."

"We were pleasantly surprised by our visit to this restaurant. We enjoy trying out new vegan spots and this one was definitely worth it. The vegan mozzarella sticks were huge and absolutely delicious. The garlic knots were tasty and the sauce was great. The vegan Greek salad was refreshing with a tasty dressing - can't wait to try their other salads. We ordered a large half vegan buffalo "chicken" and half "can't believe it's vegan" pizza. The appetizers were the highlight for us, although the pizza crust could have been better balanced. They have a full vegan menu and we are excited to come back and try more entrees. The restaurant is located on a beautiful street, perfect for date nights, with free parking on Sundays. They also offer plenty of gluten-free options and have a dog-friendly terrace at the front - a bonus for us!"
