"My family and I have been coming to this place for as long as I can remember—since I was a kid. My mom has always bought her Boar's Head cold cuts here. You might think that no one could mess up cold cuts, but what really sets this place apart is the lack of attitude or pretentiousness, unlike some other spots in Rockaway. I’ve ordered their whole ball of fresh mozzarella countless times, and it’s always fantastic. I’m also pleasantly surprised by how delicious the meat sauce is in their fridge. The young woman at the cashier is consistently friendly, making for a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a nice change from other places in town that can be known for their attitude and shady behavior—this establishment is genuinely refreshing. It’s great to have a place where we can trust the quality and service that we've relied on our entire lives.
