"Five stars but deserves 10. Exceptional. Hot, fresh, perfection. I got the mushroom chicken, hubby got the Shanghai special and my daughter got the pork ribs with noodles. This is probably the best Chinese takeout meal I've ever had. The mushroom chicken was loaded with thick cut mushrooms and plenty of chicken. There were tons of rough chopped al dente celery and carrots and the fried rice was so flavorful and fluffy. The sauce on this dish is mildly sweet without overpowering the dish. Hot and so comforting on a cold winter night. I tasted my daughter's pork ribs and they were the real deal. Cut in pieces about an inch wide, they tasted like they had been smoked and had a delicate Chinese-like BBQ sauce. I didn't taste my husband's but he loved it. The egg rolls looked and tasted homemade. These folks cook from the heart and you can taste it in their food. I can't say enough good things about this meal. Thank you, East China, for going above and beyond by providing a high-quality, flavorful, truly exceptional takeout dinner. Don't balk at the price. It's worth every penny."
