"Almost all of the food at Bissap Baobab was delicious. The pastelles were a great choice for a starter, and we couldn't resist ordering extra seafood coco and dibi because they were so good. The noise level was moderate when we visited at 6 pm on a Thursday, and the atmosphere was perfect for a group gathering. One thing to note is that Bissap Baobab does not have a liquor license, so they do not serve any alcoholic drinks (as of 5/23/19). This was surprising to us, as their menu includes several cocktail options both online and in the restaurant. The previous location, the old Bissap, had offered alcoholic beverages. Overall, it was a fun and relatively quiet spot with delicious food and friendly service."
