"here on a walk in providence. the waitress was so rude that I felt compelled to write that. the place was guided by the titled children who did not care for their job. the waitress treated us like an inconvenience. she has our order not for 20 min. We were going to leave us again and again, and she sighed with disapproval when I ordered two beer and coffee. they fell rudely a beer not two beers as I ordered) on our table when we were not looking and lastly charged us $30 for 1 beer and two coffees. the police also stopped to attack a customer complaint. I can't imagine what it was about."

"We have been ordering from here for years! Usually their food is on point. This last time we ordered the blandest food ever, but okay we ate it because we bought it already. We ordered the Greek salad, gyro meat and chicken skewers. Worst mistake ever! My husband and me are in the hospital with the worst food poisoning of our lives. Unless you are looking for an extra big medical bill I suggest not eating here. Wish I could report them to health services and get my medical bill paid for this! "The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Greek favorites. Unfortunately, the service was lacking; the waiter was inattentive and dismissive. I specifically asked about the calamari platter, confirming if it was grilled, to which he responded, "yes." Instead, I received a plate piled high with breaded calamari—exactly what I didn't want—along with rice and pita bread. It was clear to me that he wasn’t really listening. I didn't see him again until I had to flag him down for the check. On a positive note, the Greek salad was excellent, and the dressing was delicious (I’d love to get that recipe!). The ambiance was nice, though the music was a bit too loud."

"I went in for a pick up order was greeted helped by a sweet young woman named Madison. An older woman maybe the owner) came out and looked at me like she saw a ghost as if I weren?t supposed to be in this establishment. I ignored that as she asked was I picking up , I told her yes explained Madison already helped me.. the woman didn?t say anything after that and scurried out the restaurant. I patiently waited for my food. Once I received it I said thank you to the owner as she walked back in she balantly ignored me. Once I got outside to my parked car I was being ?pulled over? by a police man. I learned the same woman was just coming in from talking to this racist officer so he began to harass me in a parked car. If you are black I wouldn?t recommend eating from this restaurant as you may be a threat to this establishment and have police waiting for you outside. I will never come back here and have already started to spread the word. only gave one star so that I could write the review. If you aren?t black still want to support . The food was decent tasted fresh. Aside from the dry lamb)"

"Outstanding! We finally discovered an authentic Greek restaurant with a genuine mom-and-pop vibe. I just returned home after ordering food for my family, and with every bite, we felt so grateful to have chosen this place. We’re quite particular about where we eat and always prioritize cleanliness alongside the taste of the food. From the moment you step inside, it feels like you’re entering your grandparents’ restaurant, filled with warmth and charm. You can clearly see the professional way they prepare the food. I had a lovely conversation with the lady who made my meal, and she was incredibly kind. The flavors were so authentic and genuine; I really can’t stand mass-produced food chains (like Chipotle), as their offerings often taste mechanical. But the food at It's Greek to Me made me feel cozy and satisfied! I can’t wait to order from this restaurant again! There’s absolutely no hesitation in recommending it. Clean and delicious!"

Great atmosphere and aesthetic as well inside, when you walk in on the right is a collage of the family and I just thought that was so cute and such a nice touch. "The ambiance was pleasant, and the coffee was decent, but unfortunately, the food service left much to be desired. I went to dinner with my boyfriend on Friday night, eager to try out a new cafe lounge in the area. The waitress was friendly and attentive, but the overall service was disappointing. It's common practice for waitstaff to serve the appetizer first and then bring out both entrees together, right? Our appetizer came out, but just five minutes later, my entree was served while my boyfriend's was still being prepared. My grilled chicken was overly salty and overcooked. By the time I finished my meal, my boyfriend's entree arrived a full 20 minutes later! Our waitress didn’t offer any discount, complimentary coffee, or even a cookie to make up for the poor timing and service. We won't be returning, nor can we recommend this place to others."

"that was in order. nothing spectacular for me. Of course I had the loaded Greek pommes, and it's really hard for someone to blew imo so I'm rating 3/5 stars. I also ordered the 2 spits. the meat was average, the salat was exactly that and the reispilaf disappointed me. I saw him go out and out of a box-dry. I'm not sure why they're asking for so many dollars. I simply recommend ordering a gyroscope and pushing it. it didn't seem to be the best for the price. you also have to type with a take-out command so it wasn't worth it for me."

"Ok, I have been thinking about trying this place for the last year but forgot since it's not on a major rd I drive on all the time. My husband and I had dinner last night at Urban Gyro.... Awesome! Juicy, nice flavor not overly greasy like some Gyro's. My husband kept talking about it all the way home. I had the Detroiter Bowl the feta spread was a bit spicy But it all was yummy. My husband had the Opa bowl he loved it and we shared a Greek salad. Dressing was good but a little sweet and needed a little more acid vinegar). The owner Dennis stopped by our table and chatted with us for awhile, very nice guy! Makes us want to come by even more. We're trying to get him to have a few more Greek specialty like Greek custard in filo dough for a dessert or Pastitsio Greek Lasagna) maybe a Sunday dinner special,????? Let Dennis know maybe we can talk him into it LOL we will be back!"

"My family (wife, mother and son) enjoyed dining at the Greek joint on New Year’s Eve. The service was great thanks to Alex (Hugh Jackman’s doppelgänger), and the food was exceptional. The octopus was one of the best I’ve had yet, tender and a generous portion. The Greek salad and spanakopita also delicious and fresh as well as the branzino. I was a little underwhelmed with the presentation and portion size of the lamb shank, but was not disappointed with its flavor or texture. Considering it was a holiday, and were phasing out the dinner crowd as they set up for the NYE festivities, The Greek Joint exceeded our expectations and is at the top of our favorites list on our visit from NYC."

"When we first walked in the restaurant no one acknowledged us and told us to sit wherever we wanted , waited 10 minutes and still no one came over to our table and had to grab our own menus. The male server just brought us water and never came back. We waited another 1/2 hour to place our order and again Had to ask to place our order. When order was placed 1 1/2 hours because they had no hamburger, and no one came to inform us, they were bringing our order out one by one. Poor customer service and poorly run. Wouldn’t recommend coming here. I don’t know who owns the restaurant but when short staffed the owner should come out and help the staff out. If there was zero stars I would give it zero stars."

"In Clearwater Beach for my birthday. My boyfriend and I regret not finding this place any sooner. On the last day of our stay we came in to have our birthday day dinner and...omg!!!!!!! The best best meal we had in DAYS!!! A big shoutout to Kelly. Everything we ordered from the appetizer to the wine and main course was absolutely delicious! The octopus was tender and the lamb was amazing! Unfortunately we were too full for dessert but I bet that would have been delicious too. Funny thing, on our way back to our room a couple stopped us to inquire of a spot with good food and of course, duhhh we recommended Alati of course. I do hope they had the same experience as we had. A great experience we had dining at Alati Greek food and drink experience!"

"This was the worst dining experience I have ever had in my life. We were hosting a birthday party tonight and encountered multiple issues. Firstly, we found a hair in our food and when we brought it to the attention of the staff, they simply responded with a nonchalant "okay." Additionally, we had ordered well-done lamb chops but they were served rare with a significant amount of blood inside. The customer service was extremely rude and none of the staff apologized for any of the mishaps. To make matters worse, two dishes we ordered for $55 each were rotten and when we complained, we were told that was how they were supposed to taste and smell, which is absolutely ridiculous. The manager even yelled at us and did not offer any apologies. The staff was consistently rude throughout the entire meal and the wait time was excessively long, totaling two hours. After consuming the rotten food, we felt sick to our stomachs but were unable to use the bathroom as the female employees had locked themselves in and were having a lengthy phone conversation. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment - it was the worst dining experience I have ever had and I believe it should not be open to the public."

"For the money we paid not worth it, presentation was sloppy, 4 shrimps floating in burnt tomato sauce and overcooked, gyros were floating in yogurt, French fries were soggy, octopus two small pieces and a dry and overcooked hamburger, the worst dinner ever for $121.00 Again not worth it.
