"This restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Somerville. It stands out as one of the top Thai dining spots (if you know, you know) in the area. I often find it difficult to choose between Thai Kitchen and Kuay Tiew, but I tend to lean a bit more towards Thai Kitchen because the staff is friendlier, the portion sizes are slightly larger, and their drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp are a better value! However, if I'm in the mood for really spicy noodles, Kuay Tiew knows how to deliver that heat, which I appreciate. Overall, if you're in the Main Street area and craving some delicious noodles, I highly recommend Kuay Tiew (just avoid Origin for Thai food, lol)."

"Their menu features Isaan dishes, which I admit I was unfamiliar with. Isaan is the northeastern region of Thailand, and while the menu does include familiar Thai dishes, I was on the lookout for the chef's specials to see if they offered frog legs—something I usually find in Thai restaurants. Unfortunately, they didn't have that option! Naturally, I ordered my go-to Thai iced tea. I absolutely adore that drink—it's so refreshing with its unique, indescribable flavor. It's hard to believe it costs only $3; that’s what you’d typically pay for a regular tea in many restaurants! Paying $3 for hot water? No thanks—unless the tea is something extraordinary!"

I call to let them know, and kindly explain what happened, and they say to take it up with doordash because it's not their problem.What?You guys made the food.I didn't call to sue or make a big thing about it (which I honestly had every right to do, it's my LIFE). I was very kind in my tone and wording and they even refused to put me through to a manager. This is how you treat regulars? I won't be coming back here again. "I used to goto this restaurant weekly. I spent maybe $50-$100 per week on curry and soups. Then my order was incorrect one day. No meat. Then they gave me the wrong soup another 2nd order. I told them and they again gave no meat for a 3rd time and they didn’t care. So when I got home with the incorrect order once again I simply called via phone, just to tell them they will NO LONGER HAVE MY BUSINESS. He said “wrong order? Which one?”. So, my money will not ever goto Thai Leaf again. Very disrespectful."

"Had a fantastic dinner tonight! Chicken satay and fried coconut shrimp apps were delicious! Chicken panang curry, spicy beef and cashew and spicy basil vegetable fried rice were fresh and so tasty! The owner, Maggie, was the sweetest person! Even added a delicious coconut soup to our doggie bag at no charge! OMG, that's my breakfast! We will definitely go back and bring our friends! "This was our first time trying Thai food, and we were not disappointed at all. For our appetizer, we ordered the crispy noodle-wrapped shrimp and the chicken plant fried dumplings, both of which were excellent! My partner particularly loved the Lemongrass Pork; it was thinly sliced and perfectly caramelized. I had the fried noodles with chicken, calamari, and shrimp, and it was delicious! The only downside is that we wish we had discovered this place sooner!"
