"Came in last weekend for breakfast with my wife and son, and we were excited to try it. The menu looked really good so we were excited. My wife ordered the biscuit plate, and it was not good. The biscuits were cold and hard, the ramekins with butter, jam and honey were less than half full. My wife was going to order pancakes and sausage from the kids menu for our son, but the server talked her into the regular menu item(for more which is fine. The pancakes also were not good, cold and hard to cut. The sausage was good. I tried to order steak and eggs, but they were out, no problem, but then they were also out of Chilaquiles. This was at about 9AM so pretty early in the am to be out of so many items. I settled on Fried Chicken biscuit(this was before we got the biscuit plate Tiny piece of chicken on top of the same cold, and hard biscuit, with a fried egg and pickle. No sauce or anything on the sandwich. The chicken tasted fine, but needed some sort of sauce. It also came with potatoes, there were literally like 9 tiny pieces of potato that were cold and had no seasoning. Ate one piece and didnt touch the rest. My son, a 2.5 year old took the syrup when the food was delivered and poured some of it on the table. Obviously this was bad behavior and not the restaurants fault(sometime toddlers just do stuff The server saw him do it, and just said oh your son is pouring the syrup on the table and walked away. She then brought a couple cocktail napkins and walked away. I am happy to clean up after my child, but she didnt even attempt to help, nor bring us a cloth napkin(that are on every table to clean up the syrup. Syrup is sticky, tiny paper napkins arent going to do anything but create a bigger mess. I used my cloth napkin, dipped it in my water cup and cleaned it up. Server never offered a new napkin, new water cup or anything. I brought up the issues to the server who told me its totally normal to be out of several menu items because they are a seasonal restaurant(not sure what being seasonal has to do with not having steak for steak and eggs She told me the biscuits are meant to be hard and they are a family recipe. I know this isnt the south where biscuits are more common but they were straight up bad. I would prefer a biscuit from popeyes for 1.00 over what we were served. Eventually the server said she would comp the meal and sent the manager over. The manager basically repeated what the server said and then told us if we were unhappy we could just leave. It was really something. Anyway they did comp the meal which was nice as it was very bad, so we left a tip and left. I cannot imagine ever going back. Its one thing to have a bad day, but the manager telling us we can just leave was so rude i couldnt believe it. There are many breakfast options in the area, so i will spending my money elsewhere."
