"I ordered a cake from this bakery 3.5 hours in advance, and they said they could make a fresh one, but I suspect I received an old cake. When I returned to pick it up, the show was gone, and it seemed like they were trying to deceive customers. The staff, especially the cashier, seemed dishonest, and the owner/manager should train them better. I would have been fine if they had just been upfront about not being able to make the cake in time. The strong food coloring they used stained my children's hands and faces for two days, as well as the hands and backs of the adults who ate the cake. The cake itself was bland and flavorless, not like their usual tasty bakery items. While their pastries are usually good, their cakes are overpriced and don't live up to expectations. I have tried a few of their cakes before, but they were just decent, not exceptional. The birthday cake I ordered had a strange taste, and overall, I was not impressed with this bakery."
