"A fun, bright experience for a midsummer lunch treat for Mom which Le Penguin did not disappoint. Lively, colorful, intimate dining room that fluttered with chatter. Attentive wait staff and Ivan made sure we were happy. Love the simplicity of the table with the penguin drawing on the rustic paper bag looking table runner and blue polka dot salt shaker fun! We feasted on the Tomato Burrata appetizer which melted in my mouth with a happy marriage of savory and sweet flavors. Saumon Grille was poached to perfection (although not sure what the crunchy shavings were atop the fillet) and Mom raved over the Moules Frite in a dreamy saffron sauce. I am no fan or mussels, but that sauce was a huge yum ! No complaints, even with being seated at a small table only 3 steps from the front door which would not usually rest well with me. Great bistro to elevate a lunch date. Magnifique looking forward to returning soon!"
