"Then there’s the veal osso buco served on a bed of risotto—this is my absolute favorite dish. The meat is so tender that it falls right off the bone. The risotto, sautéed in the veal's rich stock, is decadently delicious. It truly awakens my inner carnivore, and I can’t help but remember just how substantial this dish is.
For dessert, we tried the Grand Marnier soufflé. It was wonderfully light yet rich, though it was a tad too sweet for my taste—I tend to be sensitive to sweetness, so keep that in mind if you share my preference. My partner ordered the scallops and foie gras, with the scallops resting on a plant reduction. Honestly, I could easily devour six of those scallops if I didn’t have to worry about cholesterol!
The prices are reasonable, even on the lower side, considering the quality and excellent service. Aside from the great food and service, Aimee’s holds a special place in my heart. We celebrated our anniversary on a weekday this year and attempted to make last-minute reservations—our own oversight. With no hope of getting a table, we explained to Aimee's team that it was a special occasion, and they were so honored that we chose to celebrate with them that they accommodated us as if we were doing them a favor! Aimee is incredible, and we will always be grateful for what she did for us.
Dining at Aimee's feels like visiting the home of a beloved French aunt who whips up amazing gourmet dishes yet still greets you with warm hugs and affectionate kisses."
