"This restaurant operates on a counter service model, meaning you place your order at the counter but they will bring your food to the table. We visited on a Sunday night and tried the rigatoni, shrimp and vodka penne, roasted vegetable salad, and Brussels sprouts. The pasta was enjoyable and reasonably priced for LA, though nothing extraordinary. They do offer other enticing handmade pasta options that caught my eye. However, the salad featured a rather average creamy dressing with a disappointing amount of roasted vegetables, and the Brussels sprouts were a bit undercooked. We didn’t sample any of the baked goods, but they looked quite tempting. While the restaurant doesn’t serve wine, it seems they are in the process of applying for an alcohol license. Overall, it could be a great spot for lunch or takeout, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a date night. Although the outdoor seating is pleasant, it does come with the noise of Santa Monica Boulevard. The establishment would greatly benefit from table service and a selection of alcoholic beverages. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly."
