"The sashimi and nigiri were fresh, and I appreciated the reasonable fish-to-rice ratio; nothing fell apart, which was a nice touch. Overall, they were nicely done. However, the kitchen items were a big letdown. The miso soup was overly salty, the sui mai was just okay, and the takoyaki tasted like it had been thawed straight from a bag—two misshapen, flat squidgy balls that I just can't recommend. I was really disappointed because I love takoyaki. The octopus salad was tasty but a bit too sweet for my liking (I'd still order it again), and the house salad was good with a decent portion size. The salmon was also good; I'd make sure to have room for it next time.
As for the cheesecake, it was essentially a slice of cheesecake fried with what I believe was a cornstarch coating. It was good. I’d say the highlight here was definitely the fresh-tasting sashimi—definitely load up on that! The rolls were well-made, but I found the variety of ingredients lacking. Most of the rolls tasted quite similar, except for the Suki Hana, which included whitefish.
Despite these issues, I would return to try more of their offerings. Remember, the more people in your party, the more different sushi you can sample! It’s a good place to bring friends and family, but it’s definitely not a high-end venue or impressive enough for a business meeting."
