"The host staff appeared to prioritize socializing over helping customers. When I approached the host desk with a simple question—something any staff member could have easily answered since our waitress was busy—I had to politely interrupt the hosts who were lounging on the counter and enjoying their time together. To my surprise, I was met with rudeness and told to "just ask the waitress." When I explained that I didn’t want to interrupt the busy waitress, I received the same dismissive reply: "Just ask the waitress." Overall, this experience felt completely unprofessional."

"I went to this place to try their $19 Prix fixe lunch and was quite happy with the service and food quality. I was able to have the fish of the day which was a bronzino and a really nice kale salad with toasted cashews and strawberries. I definitely did enjoy the entire atmosphere it was very relaxed great selections of wine and helpful staff. The desserts are nothing amazing but you definitely have several dessert options close by like milkcraft or donut crazy to fulfill that urge if you really need something sweet at the end of a meal."

"We had a fantastic evening at Stokes tonight, all thanks to Sara! Our group was large, and we ended up adding two extra guests, but she accommodated us with a smile and a great attitude. We also requested separate checks, which can be challenging for servers, but Sara made it look effortless! She constantly ensured we had everything we needed, which is no easy feat on a busy Friday night with multiple tables, yet she handled it like a professional. The food was delicious, and Sara even packed our to-go boxes for us. Overall, it was an ideal dining experience in terms of both food and service!"

"It's been a while since we ordered from Velocity Wings so we decided to get lunch here today, and I'm happy we did! My fiancé loves their wings and got a 10 piece of traditional Spicy Ranch wings. He also got their cheeseburger sliders, and we were bothsurprised that they also came with a generous amount of shoestring fries! I got an order of fried pickles and Velocity Tso'scauliflower bites. Their fried pickles are some of the best I've ever had! And I love that they have a cauliflower option forvegetarians. Thank you Velocity Wings!"

"Would not go again and would not recommend for anything more than a beer. I am not sure who or how they won awards for best wings/best in Loudoun county. It was an experience that left us wondering if Velocity Wings is the only wing place in Loudoun inorder for it to be recognized as the best wings in Loudoun four years straight. We got 4 different flavors of wings. TheCarolina reaper (4/4 on their hotness scale) had less spice than Franks Red Hot or Texas Pete zero exaggeration in thatstatement. If you had blind tested me I would literally have not known I was supposed to be tasting something spicy. The mangohabanero sauce (3/4 on their hot scale) had no hint or flavor of habanero at all. My girlfriend described it as it tastes likecheese sauce . The garlic wings were ok but basically just had minced garlic piled on. But I will give them credit that thechicken itself was very moist and fresh. It just was not flavored/seasoned well at all. And several other small things added tothe bad rating. One of the two plates we got was not clean. You can see in the photos that there are snail trails all over theplate like it barely got rinsed before it was brought back out. They serve pepsi products, which I also think is inferior tocoke products. Not sure if it was just how Mugg tastes or not, but it tasted like it had dish water in it. The service was ok.I asked for Ranch and my girlfriend asked for blue cheese. We each got one of each with our wings instead of her wings havingblue cheese and mine having ranch. The atmosphere was normal bar atmosphere. They have a nice patio section for when it 's warm.But I just cant get past the quality of the sauces for somewhere that is supposed to be award winning. And why play games withthe pricing? The price of the wings is not listed on the menu. Twenty wings was $30. With one soda and tip it was $40 for twopeople. This is not some exotic cut of rare meat that has been specially fed it 's entire life and impo"

"Our party of 4 arrived at Stokes at 4:30 for happy hour last night. We were seated immediately and proceeded to enjoy our drinks and food for the next hour and and half. During that time it became busier due to a concert event later that evening. We had finished our drinks and food when a manager came to our table telling us they needed our table for a reservation and that party had been waiting for several minutes for us to leave. She also said “we needed to take our party elsewhere “. There was no notice or communication that there was a time limit due to an event and our server did not mention that there was another party waiting. When this manager shared that our table was needed we hadn’t even received our check to pay. We have frequented this location many times for dinner, happy hour and brunch over the years but have never felt so unwelcome as we did yesterday. There are many options in the old market and I will be “taking my party elsewhere” from now on."

"Worst wings and customer service we’ve ever had. None of the six of us finished our food as it was all over cooked and too tough to eat. That was the least of it however. The customer service was terrible. We had ask for service and finally had to walk back into the kitchen to ask for a waiter only to find all the employees sitting around on their phones. Even with that, the service we finally did get was some of the worst we’ve ever had. We had a gift card for $50 but they only wanted to honor it for $20 until we had to dispute it. Thankfully we had the purchase receipt or they would not have given us full credit. We will for sure not be back, and would warn against this place. Save your money and go somewhere else!"
