Savory smoked salmon atop crispy toast, garnished with zesty cream cheese and fresh dill.

"We absolutely loved everything about this restaurant! I usually avoid ordering meat dishes because I've been let down in the past. However, last night I decided to try the short ribs stroganoff, and I finished the entire plate—it was so delicious that I almost wanted to lick it clean! My partner and son had pancakes, and of course, they were excellent too. We will definitely be back. Our server was fantastic!"

"We were in the area looking for a great place for dinner drinks. We found Nicholas Barrel Roost decided to give it a try. What a great vibe as we walked thru a busy restaurant. The bar had seating so we sat close to the drinktender. Great decision as our server was knowledgeable friendly. We ordered drinks dinner… as we enjoyed the bourbons beers, the entrees came out. We had Grilled Swordfish, Crusted Halibut the Spare Rib. All of the entrees were beautifully plated and equally delicious! We will be back when our travel brings us to this area. Thanks for the friendly service, Neha!"

"We went to Ted’s bulletin with non-vegan friends because we saw that vegan options were added to the menu. We ordered two “Make It Your Own” breakfast plates. Because we chose the vegan options, we got $12 MORE! The prices are already high because it is a beautiful brunching place in a big city, so I found this as insulting. See photo of the receipt attached. The worst part... they didn't even make their own vegan foods and they didn't buy anything special about the vegan ingredients from a store. We could do the same with JustEgg and vegan sausage at home with ZERO EFFORT. Updated by previous review on 2022-12-07"

"The restaurant is beautiful and lively, and the food was served quickly. The bruschetta was my favorite; it had a perfect combination of flavors. It felt a bit rushed, but I appreciate their effort to accommodate customers. The rosé sangria was vibrant and refreshing, and the donuts were a delightful way to end the meal."

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with Baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"First time dining a Zinque and it was a real pleasure. Came here to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was excellent, I had the steak and frites and my husband, whose a big burger fan, ordered the burger. We finished the meal with the flourless chocolate cake. Everything was very delicious and not expensive for what we got. The restaurant itself has great atmosphere, lots of heaters to keep you warm and a great view of the bay. Highly recommend this restaurant."

"This place is the absolute worst!! I would not recommend going here at all. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!I made a reservation for 10 on the rooftop with Sabena, it was a family get together. Being that they hadn't contacted me to confirm. I called the day before our reservation to make sure everything was ok just to get lied to (1) they said they did not see a reservation for us then (2) about the place being under construction and only the bar area was open. After screaming about the unprofessionalism in that place she had the supposedly general manager, Chris call me just to tell lie (3) the restaurant is not under construction but someone booked the whole rooftop and was promised it would be private so my reservation was canceled and I received no courtesy call. chris tells me my group can come but we can only stay for 45 minutes. He's an idiot!! Then he tells me my group can come but it's going to be loud because the people are going to have a DJ and performances, it's going to be real loud because they're going to have huge speakers and everything and if we're ok with that then he would call the group to get the ok from them that we can be up on the rooftop. He offered no other options. This was on August 4 and Chris has yet to call. The Ainsworth is a waste along with that unprofessional idiot general manager chris. How are they still open treating people the way they do is a mystery to me."

"Yesterday, we checked out Zinqué for our first time for brunch. We brought our dog, Tigger, and sat outside in the patio. We ordered the prosciutto gruyere croissant sandwich, moules-frites, and grilled whole branzino to share. Everything we ordered was so delicious and amazing. To top it off, we had the best dining experience thanks to Sean’s fantastic service. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in San Diego. Thank you so very much, Sean!"

"For our first time there, I would rate the food a 4.5/5 and the staff would be a 3/5. From the moment we walked in, I felt like we were unwelcome guests despite making a reservation for 6 ahead of time with ample warning that we would have kids at the table too. One of the waiters immediately asked my sister to take away her Arizona iced tea can that she brought in for an unspecified reason. When asked for a small cup for a child, they tried their best to accommodate with a small glass and tiny straws. My only other complaint was that they asked if we wanted garlic bread for the table and we said yes. We didn’t get it until I asked for it 3 times. But then when we received it (at the end of our meal), we got charged three times for it despite only receiving one order. They fixed that part but we honestly could not tell if the waiter was annoyed by us or his staff with the way he acted when we asked for a correction. I was not surprised that they added gratuity automatically, but wished they would’ve given us the option to make it 18% instead of forced 20% considering everything. Overall, the food was pretty excellent, but some of the staff would seriously benefit from re-training on how to talk to customers. Honestly, the most polite and respectful staff were only the bussers and the ones coming to fill our waters."

"Even though we booked at velvet buck, the restaurant was closed and they just directed us to the hotel Lounge which had an entirely different menu and different ambiance. They didn’t even explain until we asked if the limited menu was for velvet buck. Pretty disappointing when paying St Regis pricing"

"Came in around 10:30 me, my son, and his gf. She got strawberry short stack pancakes and a side of brunch potatoes, he got normal, i got chicken fried steak with poached eggs, also clam chowder soup. Everything came quick, Hot, and tasted amazing!! Our server was Stacy, she is a great waitress, continued to check on us, made sure everything tasted great, and kept up with the refills!! This place never disappoints!! The owner also checked to make sure all was good. Very fair pricing, great food, great service!! Tip well. They deserve it!!"

"The food here is quite good, and we often bring our kids for breakfast. However, when we ordered the “we've got the beet” juice to go as we were leaving, we were surprised to see a charge that was $3 higher than the price listed on the menu. When we inquired about the discrepancy, we were informed that the price had changed but the menu hadn't been updated. Unfortunately, Chris, the manager, was unhelpful and refused to address our concerns. Although we ended up purchasing the juice, we felt we should have been charged the price advertised on the menu. It’s really about doing what's right and valuing customers. We will... "

"Even though we made a reservation, we had to wait almost 30 minutes and could not get the table we wanted. I understand that this is the busiest time of the year but I expected that they needed to prepare. When I called them prior to the event, I asked the hostess if I was able to bring our own cake since they didn't have any cake on their menu. She said I could but they have to charge $20 for bringing our cake. I agreed because I didn't have any other choice. When we ordered our food I asked our server about an additional $20 charge, and he said never heard of that extra charge. Why the hostess said that to me?? Tried to charge more?? I don't understand. Service was really really slow and the food was just ok. Would not go back."

"Decent breakfast. Comparable prices and quality to Blueberry Hill as far as skillets and standard breakfast goes. I'm not personally huge on the asthetic, it looks more like an IKEA than a home-cooked breakfast place, but I know many people like the industrial look, so to each their own. Service was STELLAR. We had the nicest people asking how we were, including waitresses whose areas we weren't sitting in, so they're definitely going above and beyond with service. I'll be trying their lunch menu next time I'm in and updating my review."

"All I can say it WOW. I have been eating at different Brunch Cafe locations for years and I have never had bad food or service from any location. I called in my order and picked it up 15 minutes later. From the phone order to picking up my food was more than pleasant. A very friendly staff! Then there is the food, simply delicious every time. The portions are great, especially for the price! I HIGHLY recommend trying, if you haven't already."

"First of all, let me state that Trevi's Grill is a hotel restaurant. The ambiance is what you would expect in a hotel: nonexistant. (Yes, we have dined in hotel restaurants that had excellent ambiance. They were an unexpected pleasure For a hotel restaurant, it's pretty good My wife and I had Thanksgiving supper at Trevi's. They were still cleaning up from the Thanksgiving luncheon, so the restaurant was a bit disorganized. However, our server, Pete, was very helpful and friendly. (Pete had been working for about nine hours that day, so we were very impressed with him We both started with wine — my wife with the "Whispering Angel" rose and I with the "Kris" pinot grigio. My wife liked the rose very much. The pinot grigio was, well, wine. It really had no character, which is unusual for an Italian wine. Two stars for the combination Our meals started with a small Caesar salad. This was very disappointing: a Caesar salad should have crisp lettuce and, preferably, have the lettuce lightly coated with dressing before being served. The lettuce was limp and came with the dressing in a side dish. Zero stars for the salad course. (We declined to complain, figuring that ALL the lettuce was probably in the same shape For our main course, my wife chose the crab cakes and I chose the blackened salmon. We both pronounced our entrees as excellent. The salmon was flaky and moist, and came with a delicious serving of rice. Five stars for the entrees For dessert, we decided to share one cheesecake. Pete brought us coffee and "cream which turned out to be milk. This DID elicit a complaint from my wife, and Pete graciously brought her a fresh coffee and a pitcher with real cream (or, at least, half and half). The cheesecake was delicious and made the perfect ending for the meal. The coffee was very good also and, I believe, Pete had brewed a fresh pot just for us So, for a good meal, Trevi's works well. Just avoid the Caesar salad and the Kris pinot grigio."
