"We started our meal with chips and salsa, but unfortunately, it wasn’t anything remarkable. On the other hand, the tacos were fresh and packed with flavor, and the tortillas were excellent. The only drawback was that the tacos were so generously filled with meat that they were hard to fold and eat, which led us to order extra tortillas to manage the mess. Other than that, the flavors were spot on.
For dessert, the churros were nicely sized, though I found them a bit too doughy for my liking. They were still a decent choice. Sadly, the arroz con leche fell short of my expectations. I was looking for a traditional, creamy version bursting with flavor, but I ended up with three rice balls rolled in coconut shavings on a bed of dulce de leche. It seemed like a creative twist from the chef, but it didn’t resonate with my preference for the classic recipe.
As for drinks, the white wine sangria was delightful, but the house margarita was overly salty, to the point of being undrinkable.
Overall, I’m glad we gave this place a try since we’re new to the area, but next time, I think I’d rather check out another taco joint."
