"To my surprise, my food arrived sooner than expected, and it smelled wonderful. As someone who has experience with meal prepping, I found the dishes to be just okay. Some flavors shone while others were either overwhelming or underwhelming. A notable issue was that several of my dishes had bits of leftover rice, suggesting that the staff might have misinterpreted the labels and rushed to scoop out the rice, leading to a messy presentation where it mingled with my swai fish.
None of the dishes really left a lasting impression on me. The garlic soy chicken was flavorful at first, but the garlic became overpowering after a while, leaving an aftertaste. I did appreciate the generous portions of meat, which meant I had plenty of leftovers. The lemon pepper swai fish was decent if you like dishes with a lot of pepper, but the simple carrots were quite forgettable. Unfortunately, the BBQ chicken and corn were not to my liking at all; I wasn’t a fan of that combination.
In my view, this restaurant is great for those who don’t cook and are looking for a quick, healthy meal. However, I was hoping for dishes that felt more substantial. The vegetables I received—corn, carrots, and cabbage—didn’t seem particularly nutritious or high-quality; I would have preferred options like kale, asparagus, or collard greens. Pairing fish with just carrots felt too light, and the overall vegetable selection seemed somewhat cheap.
On a positive note, I appreciated the sturdy containers and clear labels. However, I don’t think I will order from here again. Overall, the experience was mediocre, and nothing stood out enough for the price."
