"Changed ownership...... here's some recent feedback I don't know what happened, the ownership of Kitty's kitchen just changed. Before when it first opened, it was run by Taishan people who spoke Cantonese. They made authentic food and were super friendly and kind. My favorite dish used to be the fried chicken wings and their sweet sour Thai noodles.... Upon ordering today, we realized the ownership changed after we realized they didn't speak Cantonese and didn't know which dishes we were talking about. We still ordered in hopes the recipes and food would be the same but much to our disappointment, the food is completely different : Sometimes change is good, but in this case.. I'd argue against it. The chicken was just ok in flavor and dry and the soup is bland. The rice was super oily as well..... To give perspective, the chicken is wings but the inside meat is like breast meat... We're super disappointed as this was our favorite place and was something we would always look forward to eating... we're going to end up tossing the old menu on our fridge : Hopefully they'll reach out to the old owners and ask for some of their recipes. "STEER CLEAR FROM THIS CHINESE RESTAURANT. First off the staff will not be able to understand any of your concerns. Its like pulling teeth trying to describe your concerns. Its like im speaking a language so foreign they dont even know what im saying. Second, There chow mein was gritty like chomping on sand or tiny pieces of rock. Third this restaurant added a tip for themselves without my consent. They forged the tip amount on my check but luckily I check my bank accounts very frequently and was able to correct the issue. Keep an eye on your statements if you do decide to eat here. But please do not eat here the service is terrible and the food is overly salty and gross.PS : The parking is also terrible just keep that in mind. The meter maids will ticket you even if your a minute from driving off."

"We discovered the restaurant Juwel while traveling from Texas to Chicago, and we were thoroughly impressed by the variety, freshness, and flavors of the homemade dishes on their buffet. Everything was served at the perfect temperature and tasted excellent! The staff was friendly, warm, and very attentive. We give it 4 stars instead of 5 solely because of the ambiance—while the decor is fresh and beautiful, a more inviting environment would enhance the overall culinary experience. If you go for dinner, you won’t be disappointed!"

"Did not enjoy our food. Got the general tso tofu. Sauce tasted like store bought sweet and sour with some pepper flakes tossed in, VERY sweet and lacking in flavor. Breading was literally rubber, it didn't even break off in chunks in the sauce, it was gelatinous! I'm not expecting crispy with something soaking in sauce but this was disgusting. Has been a long time since I couldn't even stomach to finish my food. What a shame."
