Even on a Monday evening in a small rural area whose main feature is a state prison, there was a long line outside (with social distancing markers on the ground). I didn’t time it, but I waited around half an hour from when I arrived until I received my shake. This wasn’t due to a lack of effort from the staff; they were clearly busy. Several locals left with trays stacked high with fresh desserts. In addition to ice cream, the shop was also selling disposable masks. I ordered a mint chip shake, which had a distinct alcoholic flavor, as if they had added a potent mint extract. The chocolate chips were semi-sweet, resembling those typically used in baking. I appreciated these unique touches, and the shake was quite enjoyable. They also offered shaved ice and smoothie bowls for those who prefer dairy-free options, and those looked impressive as well. I might have considered one of their more elaborate sundaes, but I was eager to get something quickly."
