"While Amar looks great. My review is in part the atmosphere and food. So first atmosphere wow is it loud! Was there on a Friday and there is no sound absorption at all. The tables are so tight together I can hear all of my neighbors conversations. Plus if any table is too loud you can hear all of the conversation. The bathrooms were also very dirty. As for the service I couldn’t hear one world she said. And the tables were so close she could even get near me. I know you want to pack the room but there should be walking space and I should not feel I’m sitting at the next table. As for the food Mediterranean food should be favorable and memorable. This was not! The chicken was either juicy or dry. And more dry not even edible. The potatoes were very oily. And the hummus was not tasty. I also had the fish dish and I thought the rice was hard and it was in both dishes."

"Cedars was a very pleasant surprise on my trip to Philly. It was very authentic lebanese food as if made by my family, no shortcuts were taken as you could taste the quality ingredients and proper prep time to make the dishes. On top of this it was extremely reasonable as i got more food then i could finish (never happens) given I ordered a ton lol. This was incredibly legit food and I'm thinking of heading back to philly just to eat there again!"
