"Place has been remodeled. Looks clean and great designs. Kinda wish the menu was a little more organized, but can't complain. So we are here for the food and I have to say I've only tried the Birria Tacos and the Quesadilla. Good flavor from the Tacos, delicious spicy salsa to be complimented with the meal. The Quesadilla is your typical one with cheese and your choice of meat with lettuce, tomatoes on the side. Overall its a pretty nice place, great atmosphere and good location. I still recommend going back, after all we all have a different taste but this place is totally worth it to be checked out."

"I had the unfortunate experience of trying the taquitos from this restaurant, and they were by far the worst I’ve ever tasted. They were extremely dry, and the meat had a distinctly old and unpleasant flavor. After just a couple of bites, I became concerned about the possibility of food poisoning. The "guacamole" sauce also tasted outdated and rancid. Additionally, the bottoms of the taquitos were soaked, suggesting they had been sitting out for quite some time. To make matters worse, there were no napkins or salsa included with my order. The food quality was very disappointing, and I believe they should be embarrassed to serve such dishes. I will definitely not be ordering from Castanedas again."

"My grandson and I attempted our next steak experience and were highly pleased with High Noon. My grandson ordered the Ribeye. Here is my grandson's critique: The steak was soft and easy to cut and it was juicy and seasoned well and really good. The fries were really crisp and seasoned well. I ordered the meatloaf. My critique is similar: the meatloaf was well prepared and seasoned. I prefer my meatloaf with a little bit more sweetness, but overall it was delicious. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful and the steam veggies were crisp and fresh. The service was great and our server was nice and helpful and friendly. "The prices at this restaurant have become unreasonably high, and to make matters worse, my card was charged more than the total amount listed on my receipt the last time I went through the drive-thru. My family has been dining at this location for over 12 years, even before it was known as Castaneda's, but we have decided not to return after this experience."

"This was my third time dining here, and the food is always great! The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that during this visit, the employee who took our order accidentally added two enchiladas instead of the one I wanted. Although the nice young male manager quickly resolved the mistake and refunded my money, he also took the time to show her where she went wrong. However, the girl seemed a bit unbothered despite her experience (she was there during my last visit, too). She was friendly to us as customers, but her behavior seemed a bit immature. That aside, I really enjoy the food and service at this restaurant!"

"I ordered a quesadilla tonight, and I was disappointed to find that it was drenched in grease, both inside and out. When I opened it up, there was a small pool of grease pooling along the edge of the tortilla. I had to tilt it to drain the excess oil. This isn’t authentic Mexican food; it’s just greasy Mexican food. (UPDATE): After taking just one bite, I’ve been feeling unwell for the past 30 minutes. I really wouldn't recommend eating here. I'm even considering taking legal action due to their consistently poor reviews."

"For those who follow a vegan diet, this restaurant offers a wide range of high-quality options that cater to everyone's dietary needs. I admit I probably should be on a diet, but I enjoy everything they serve! Regarding parking, the staff is very accommodating and allows you to use their parking facility, which is free and easily accessible. As for kid-friendliness, this place is definitely suitable for families. I have a little one myself, and it's great to be in a restaurant that understands the needs of parents. Of course, I do my best to keep my child well-behaved since we all know how kids can be! Lastly, the establishment is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their dining experience."

"I ordered san Felipe fries called for the price I was told 12.35. When I went to pay it was $18.05. The fries were double cooked cheese and Carne asada and shrimp on top. That was it. Didn't look like rhe picture then the receipt was half of one could not see my total or the price or what I ordered on there. Not worth it. Photos coming soon...no I have the right one. I work right across the street that's why I know it's the right one. I called put my order in and I walked to go pick it up around 750 pm And I speak perfect Spanish. Castaneda in riverside way better."

"My first time here and the small drive thru is not too great. If you have a big truck or work vehicle you probably wont fit. So its Saturday and we waited in a long line just to get up to the speaker and she said cash only. WTH ? Why wouldnt you post a sign instead of waiting till the person gets all the way up to the speaker. Well anyways I had cash on me but usually dont. I got a California burrito and we got potato tacos. The tacos were really good not many Mexican restaurants sell those. They were crispy and good. The California burrito was good also I added sour cream . The horchata was really good. Now the churros were hard and seemed to be old. I read some reviews that people were saying they were good and mine were hard as a rock I threw they away! Anyways I would go back I'm going to try the taco salad next time ?"
