"This charming little restaurant has a peaceful atmosphere, and I genuinely wanted to enjoy the food. The queso was outstanding! Unfortunately, I found I needed that queso to make the rest of my meal enjoyable. I was looking forward to the house-made tamales, but the masa was dry and crumbly, lacking in flavor. The beef enchilada consisted of just a corn tortilla with a small amount of ground beef, which left me wanting more. I chose to pair my meal with a side of queso instead of the chili sauce, and I’m glad I did. My dining companion tried the chili sauce and rated it a mere 2 out of 5, although she did enjoy her margarita, giving it a solid 4."
