"I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a newborn, making it 31 years now. My mother has been a regular for 45 years! The black and red beans are absolutely incredible! The special steak with onions is the best I've ever had. And the chicken with yellow rice is incredibly moist and fresh—definitely a must-try!"

"We had the 7 course tasting menu , we asked to use the wine cellar room .. but we were only 2. They obliged and we had a great time. The wine paring only works if you have 4 people .. but we had the sommelier help choose our wine and the chef introduced each dish. The room is quiet , can be completely isolated with blinds. The restaurant is in their market and it sits within a gated marina. Great experience , local PR food but elevated. This was a gourmet meal. Expect to spend 3 hours for dinner which was fine for us since we were celebrating our 35th anniversary. 5 stars. Luda the manager served us and Rafi was the chef."

"**Beware of Scams!** I'm not sure if this problem is limited to UberEATS, but they impose a 100% fee if you want to choose a specific soda flavor. The menu lists all sodas at $2.50, but if you want anything other than Sprite, there's an additional $2.50 charge for the "luxury." This means you're paying $5 for a single can! I had to spend almost 40 minutes arguing with Uber to get a refund. I suggest steering clear of this place until they stop exploiting customers."

"Yummy! One of the best Mexican restaurants in town. All locations are amazing, but this is the original. Horchata is delicious here and the food is great. If your vegetarian make you a bean rice and cheese burrito and it's super good. If you eat meat, all choices are great. Very recommended."

"There were three or four servers present, yet none of them checked in on us to see how everything was or if we needed anything. To the staff: how much more time do you need to spend chatting with each other? With just two customers at the table, it shouldn't be difficult to follow up occasionally. We had to ask for basic items like silverware, which should be a given. It was frustrating that the servers only approached us when we stood up to make our requests, like asking for silverware or plates that were forgotten. Even when we finished our meal, they seemed more focused on bringing the check than on ensuring we had everything we needed. What if we wanted dessert or coffee? An opportunity for upselling was missed. This establishment could greatly benefit from more training in hospitality and customer service. No matter how good the food is, without attentive service, customers are unlikely to return. Service is crucial to repeat business, and while the food is fantastic, it's essential to also improve the service. I visited the Fullerton location and hope to see improvements in the future!"

"I been coming/ordering from here for already 3 years I never had any problem but today I did and the lady that was taking my order over the phone was really rude and rushing me the rice wasn’t even fresh they poured more juice then beans. When I was telling her I wanted everything fresh she said well it’s too for me to be taking delivery’s so I told her yeah but It’s my money and I don’t wanna spend my money on something that’s not fresh. I just can’t believe I spent almost 40 dollars on this nasty food smdh .. bad customer service"

"The dining experience was amazing. There were many delicious smells and the jazz band was a nice addition. My only issue was that the food arrived too quickly! We placed our order and I went to the restroom to wash my hands, which only took less than 5 minutes. When I returned to our table and sat down, the food was already there! We barely had a chance to eat, it was devoured so quickly! We will definitely come back, but next time we will be more strategic with our ordering."

"Everything was delicious. The Mondongo was outstanding. The Oxtail Stew was tasty, although there wasn't much meat on the bones. The Pernil al Horno wasn't served in the usual shredded form; it was in chunks, but still delicious. The onions on top with beans and rice were excellent. The portion size was generous, and I left feeling very full. The salad was fresh and tasty. The flan was creamy and delicious. I will definitely order again."
