"I am uncertain about what has changed at this establishment over time, but it seems to have lost its quality. A few months ago, I tried their yuca empanadas and they were amazing! In my opinion, their chicken and cheese empanadas were the best, but even their beef was good. It's about a 20-minute drive for me, so after trying it a few times and not being disappointed, I felt confident in what I was getting. However, when I returned a few weeks ago, the yuca empanadas were not the same. I initially thought it might be due to the current circumstances, a different chef, or just an off day. So, I reserved judgment. Yet, when I went back a few days ago, it was still not the same. I also tried their Yaroa de maduros and chicken, which I cannot recommend. The only thing I can confidently recommend from here is their fruit shakes, as I don't believe those can go wrong. Every time I have one, it takes me back to my childhood in the Dominican Republic. Overall, this place is just okay. I have had better experiences elsewhere. I am unsure why the quality of the food has changed, but it has. I hope it returns to its former glory."
