"My son came to visit from San Diego, and we stopped by this restaurant right after picking him up from the airport. I must say, their fries are outstanding—truly fantastic! We barely made it out of the parking lot before finishing them all. My son got the chicken sandwich, chicken salad, and a roll, and he said everything tasted wonderful. We've already returned twice in just three days! Everything is fresh and served piping hot. We will definitely be coming back!"

"The fries were good and hot the chicken was fresh however the crust was very very pale, the meat was done but just bairly done. When it comes to chicken for me it has to be done done. I couldn't hear the associate at the drive thru, I told her at least 3 times and still couldn't hear her."

"I live right behind this restaurant, so my family and I stop there two or three times a week. However, the chicken tenders we have been getting for the past three days are completely different from what we are used to. They have been very dry and have a hard-to-chew cartilage texture down the center of each tender. Today, we ordered a 25 tender family meal with 3 family size sides for our guests, and out of eight people, seven of them complained about the quality of the tenders. The only person who did not complain was a two-year-old, which is understandable. I'm not asking for a refund or replacement, just for the restaurant to fix this issue. I tried to add photos for evidence, but I couldn't at the moment. I just want the amazing chicken tenders back, not the new ones they are currently serving. This is not meant to be slander, but a plea for the restaurant to address the problem."

"Fast Food Chicken had been a huge disappointment until today. However, the service was quick and incredibly friendly. The food outshone all its competitors. The chicken was reasonably priced and tasted fantastic, and the sides were satisfying as well. The buns were soft, warm, and perfectly cooked—not overdone like some places serve. "I hate writing this but I’m tired of my orders being messed up. I love golden chick and I understand a mistake or two happens every now again and that’s fine. We’re all humans. But messing up, losing my order or items missing from my order every time I go is exhausting cause I drive almost an hour away to get home because I just work in Pleasanton. Please do better. Food is great and manager is nice, but some better procedures need to be put in place to do better by the customers."

"Went Thursday night after work and ordered a 3 piece tender regular and a 6 piece spicy tender, paid cash. When I got home, I live about 2 miles away, my order was wrong and my everything was cold. I called and spoke with an employee who told me they would write my name down with the orders I made and just to come back whenever and tell someone my name was wrote down and would be fixed when I come back. I went back last night and walked inside and asked to speak with the manager and told her the situation and she got very rude with me and told me unless I had a receipt that it wouldn't get fixed. Although I told her the girl I spoke to said they wrote everything down and I even showed her my phone call record for the night I left not satisfied, she still would not even try and give me a discount on my next purchase even tho they messed up and then a couple had ordered while I was talkin to the manager and they returned their food to the counter and I said to the manager see its not like I'm lying. None the less I walked out unsatisfied with their poor management, no food, and won't be a returning customer to this location."

"This was my first visit to Golden Chick, but it definitely won't be my last. It's the best chicken I've ever had! It was perfectly seasoned and baked, incredibly flavorful, with a fluffy crust that was easy to bite and wonderfully juicy. The staff were friendly, polite, and had a great rapport with each other, making the atmosphere enjoyable. I loved watching them bake the chicken right in front of us. I can't express enough positive things about Golden Chick. I absolutely love it! I can't wait to try their fish and rolls next!"

"I wish that I could give this location a better rating but can 't, and because of these reasons : Inconsistency with the size of the chicken pieces. (Especially breast One visit we received pieces that one piece was enough for an adult, and the next time, you needed three! Asked the employees, and they wouldn 't make up for the baby sized chicken pieces. (ripoff! The preparation of the food varies greatly from good to really greasy, overcooked, or undercooked and almost unfit to eat! The employees are extremely disorganized, often don 't have food prepared at peak eating times, and have no people skills for dealing with the customers. Another issue is with portion sizes of the sides. One visit, you may get what you expect or receive something that will make you disappointed and mad that you should even have to tell the employees why are they being so skimpy? Inconsistency is the downfall of many restaurants, and hopefully, this one figures this out! We are leery of going here now after two good visits and three bad ones. "I visited Golden Chick today to make a purchase, but the payment process took much longer than expected. My card was fine, but the cashier needed to get change, and I had to wait for her to direct me to the next window. When I picked up my food, it was cold, so I asked for a replacement. The cashier told me that since it took 12 minutes—longer than their timer allows—I had to accept what I was given before even reaching the pickup window. When I asked if she was the manager, she misunderstood and refused to give me her name. Regardless of the wait at the first window, customers should always receive hot food. It was disappointing to encounter a manager who seemed unwilling to make things right. This was the first time I’ve had such an experience here, and I hope others don’t face the same."

"You might be surprised, but Golden Chick really serves the best catfish fillets. They are fried fresh to perfection when you order them. For the best experience, I recommend specifically asking for a freshly cooked batch. Even though they claim to always cook the fish fresh, there have been a couple of times when I forgot to request it, and I didn’t receive fresh fish. However, when I returned, they were happy to remake my order. Despite that, I keep coming back for my favorite combo, which I always enjoy with a large sweet tea."

"What the...? How often do you go through a drive-thru and leave thinking, "Wow! That was amazing customer service!" If you're looking for that kind of experience, make sure to visit this drive-thru when TJ is on duty. He's fantastic—super friendly and provides excellent service. "Usually I have a great experience but we ordered the family 20 piece tenders with 2 sides but only got about 16 pieces of little chicken strips tried to call up there to see if we could get the strips we paid for almost 45.00 we spent and the phone number don’t work so we all didn’t even get to eat but 2 strips never will go back waste of money I could have went somewhere else for almost 45.00 and got way more this is crazy I wanted to update this review because after leaving the review from my experience today Ne’Quan Jones reached out to me and she was so nice, understanding and made everything right after seeing this. She definitely deserves to be recognized for being so professional and caring about making customers experiences better. "Order100924 piece combo8 poppers$18.38I stopped here because my uncle had be raving about the roasted chicken. After three days of it, I decided to stop today. When I walked in I was overwhelmed with the many menu items.Every part of a chicken is available. I let the cashier know that this was my first visit and she helped me out with a few combo choices. I ended up ordering a 4 piece, roasted and fried and then added an order of poppers.I was given a number which I immediately knew came with a wait time but i was okay with that.While waiting two employees come in from outside. One of them was holding a copy of a marquee. They walk to the back of the store and then came to the front of the restaurant. All of a sudden the male employee jumps up on the counter to started making changes to the menu. The area he is standing on at the counter is where you pick up your order. Yea your order will be bagged or on a tray and never touch the counter, but this makes everything else questionable.Before I could ask for the manager, she walks up front and supervises the changes being made to the menu board. I then figure this was a normal here and just took my food once my number was called. I started eating the poppers I ordered but thought more of the guy on the counter and didn’t eat the rest of my order. The poppers were great but I won’t come back to this establishmentu."
