"Casual fine dining without being pretentious! Beasts Bottles has become a favorite of mine over the last few months. Classy and elegant atmosphere, excellent music, an incredibly cool living wall/ceiling installation, all with friendly and attentive service to boot! Great spot for a romantic dinner or first date. Works for larger parties too! The cuisine can be classified most likely as new American, with an emphasis on French rotisserie (they have a cool rotisserie complete with flames in the back adding to the ambiance. I thoroughly enjoy the Smoked Long Island Duck almost every time, but the rotisserie chicken options, especially the Truffled Chicken for 2, are also home runs! The risotto appetizer is also highly recommended. As far as drinks go there is definitely an emphasis on wine (the wine list has a table of contents it's so extensive! I have learned that one of the owners is the ONLY Master Sommelier operating in Brooklyn! They also have a super knowledgeable and friendly floor Somm to help guide you through this extensive wine options. While the wine is great, the rest of the beverages are also on point with an eclectic variety of craft cocktails, spirits, beers, and after dinner drinks. Try Ginger Rogers! Can't Recommend this place any higher! Check it out."

Because it was a special occasion- my birthday- they brought the most divine desserts with the entertainer singing Happy Birthday! We enjoy F&B when we are dining as a couple or with a group of friends. Fab and Claudine set the tone for a memorable evening always. "we reserved a table for the Mother's Day for people. when we came there, there was a sign that it was reserved, but we had to raise the chairs for the table. it is a command of the front art, so we got our commands and stood in the line, so it took at least minutes to get through the line. we didn't expect much, but after we waited for our coffee and tee, we frustrated a few minutes. when we were there for a few minutes, someone came and told us that we had only a few more minutes and that someone had reserved the table....and we had not yet got our food. not classic. if they want a reserved table, they have to come and order to get everything to turn the table around. I have made an evaluation to yelp and received feedback that they were not a restaurant in sitting, so we expected too much. that's not the problem. my biggest thing is that they came to us and told us we had to go before they had taken our food out. very badly executed. to everything else. there was a terrible fat smell that made our eyes water. Eating was okay, but not worth the experience. if they want a reserved table, they have to do something else."

"It’s my first time in this restaurant and was a nice experience. You need to order and pay with the cashier and them self served the drinks and pick up your food when is ready. Te ambience is nice, confortable and clean, with a lot of seatings and also they have outside seating. Extensive menu with a lot of nice Cal-Mex Food, also they have a bar. (I’m not sure if it’s a full bar) The food was made very fast and looks fresh and tasty. The employees were very nice and good spirit, the lady who pick up the trays and dirty dishes was very nice and attentive. We had chips and salsa fresca, Cuban pork and salmon taco. Everything was good and fresh. I was for lunch and was kind of busy but the service was fast price are affordable and depends how hungry you are maybe you can share the plate. Why 4 , no servers"

"Has not been in a year or two and found that the quality of the food and the service had deteriorated. Very disappointing. Two of us were dining and we ordered the tapas specials where we each had three different tapas and a dessert. The croquettes were too mushy. The arugula, salad unremarkable. The risotto fair. The paella was predominantly rice and the amount of shellfish meager. Desserts will probably the best thing on the menu but not spectacular. Service slow; Too bad Because it used to be a fun place."

"With MCC and A.R.T. having wonderful seasons, I've been on the look out for a place in that area to enjoy a pre-theater bite. I feel I struck gold with Ardesia, which is so much more than a wine bar. The small plates were fabulous, particularly the lamb skewers with minted yogurt and the spinach and cheese croquettes. And the pisco sour was beautifully prepared. Tables are small, but the seating is quite comfortable. And the noise level was a comfortable buzz."

"This is a Woodstock neighborhood gem with a lot of locals dining there. There is familiarity between staff and local patrons which isn 't the best for 'outsiders '. The restaurant has great potential to be one of the best in Portland. I have no doubtthe chef is doing a superb job because the food tasted delicious and was presented well. I am not a food critic, and feeltastes are subjective so I will not review the food any further. Our disappointment was about the service and overallrestaurant effort given the high prices for a non-downtown restaurant. Paper napkins for a $200 meal for two? Really? We choseto sit outside not knowing the layout of the outdoor space because it was a lovely warm day. We were definitely ignoredthroughout our wine pairing, 3-course meal until another table was seated outside towards the end of our meal. We waited about20 minutes for our dessert to show up. We don 't mind 'slow dining ', in fact we prefer it, but there is a huge difference betweenbeing ignored and a deliberate slow dining experience. Nobody checked on us throughout our meal, and plate collection was veryslow as well as forgotten paired wine with our entree. : The obvious let down is the very busy and very loud street, but weweren 't expecting apartment occupants above the restaurant to be so loud and obnoxious as well. Not sure how either of thoseconditions would be remedied other than sitting inside. I am not sure if we would go back given the expense and our first timemediocre experience.????"

"Our reviews had over 37 million views last year. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really loved Dirty French. Must get reservations but lots of tables. Staff is excellent. Great managers, hostesses and servers. Pamela was our server, has been there since 2015 and knows the menus inside and out. She gave us a ton of great ideas. Started with the deviled eggs. Just like grandma use to make with some fun spices. All dishes here are a homage to their name so you can expect french flavors but with lots of different dirty spices and flavors blended in where you would not expect them. They give you a giant flash fried bread dish with awesome onion dip style butter. Yummy!!! Then we had the famous mushroom millefeuille. Think of 1,000 layers of noodles with the best corn sauce (with some hot spice in parts) but the noodles are a very subtle mushroom. If I had told you it was potatoes with no mushrooms you would believe me because the mushroom flavor is very subtle. THIS IS A MUST ORDER ITEM!!! I also had the in house sausage with in house mustard sauce. Again the sauce was very complex and not what you would expect. Fantastic. For our mains I had their famous orange duck. Only limited servings availabe each night so you must ask for it and hope it is not sold out. Best duck I have ever had. Moist, inside, cripsy outside. Wonderful sauce (again note the dirty fun flavors in it) that only had a hint of orange. I will get that every time I have the chance. She had the hangar steak. Be sure to order it medium rare to get the most flavor. Very good sauces again and the fries are double or triple fried so very crispy. I love the fries this way. They are like the little ones at the bottom of the box of fries you get and they are exquisite. For deseert we had the beignets that come with the famous sauce from Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans or at least a dirty version of their sacue. These are served hot out of the fryer and are to die for. You cannot go wrong with this dessert. You get 4 of them but do not split an order, they are too good to share!!! Ask your servier about all the red roosters in the room and about the clown busts. Very funny stories. Look for the 3 frogs behind the bar and they will think you are a regular. We had a great time with great food and great employees like Pamela. "Great service. My daughter loved the fries. I had the buckwheat crepe with 3 options to stuff in, which I chose goat cheese, spinach and ratatouille! Magnefique! I also loved all the art and posters on the walls and the size and atmosphere of the place. I also noticed they have a back area that is nice when the weather is agreeable."

"We arrived for an early business on a Tuesday night (5:45). The place was empty. We were quickly waited upon. The delivery of drinks was fast; food very slow. One of the four dishes was cooked well. Two meals were over cooked (steaks), but ok. My fish was OLD. As in several days old, it should not have been served. A nice place to have a glass of wine, but certainly not a place for seafood."

"Overall, it was quite enjoyable. My daughter and I stopped for tea during our visit to the museum and had a great experience. Two years ago, our visit was disappointing, but it’s clear they have improved significantly since then. I specifically remember being served tea in lukewarm water last time, but this time we each received a pot with truly hot water. The finger sandwiches were a mixed assortment, but generally good. We had to request two extra mini-scones since we each only received one, but those were definitely the highlight of the tray. The view from the large windows overlooking Central Park and Cleopatra's Needle was stunning. While there are other places for tea in NYC that are better, the ambiance here is hard to beat."
