"I have been a patron of this store for over 20 years. To be more precise, use to go here all the time about 10 years ago. My office changed locations so went less frequently over the years. Just recently I am doing some work in the area and have been going to them daily again. I am not sure of anyones names but literally every single person I deal with is helpful, acts courteous, and is always pleasant to me. While there, many customers came in, and the employees greeted them with their first name, Good morning, and before the customer could even speak they knew the order and just confirmed. I see this every time I go here. I am in this store in the morning hours never the afternoon or evenings. I do order different things from a breakfast platter to a plain bagel with cream cheese. Not a coffee drinker so cant comment on that. The food has always been very good. I highly recommend them."

"This was our third visit to Georgie's and was hoping for as satisfying evening as the first two visits. We drove 150 miles to specifically go there for a milestone birthday. We requested the exceptional server we had on our 1st two visits, Pearl, but unfortunately, were not seated in her area. Nothing was mentioned by the obviously unhappy hostess about the request when we were lead to our table, so we assumed it was not a problem. We soon realized it was but having both worked in fine dining, we did not want to make a fuss. The wedge salad at Georgie's is a special treat so we enjoyed that with some steamers for appetizers. However, the main course prime rib we both ordered was both cool and chewy. (Wish I would have again ordered the amazing seafood pasta I had on a previous visit! Overall, we were disappointed and will not make a special trip (with the overnight hotel expense just to go but if in the area, would probably give it another chance. The ambiance and view are very enjoyable."

"This is an ideal dive bar. The burger was outstanding—cooked just right, well-seasoned, and deliciously juicy. The fries were expertly prepared: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The nachos were generously loaded and bursting with flavor. The Reuben was a classic and very tasty. I highly recommend the steak sandwich; the steak was cooked to perfection, and the blue cheese added a fantastic touch. Overall, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fun. I hope to return soon. Plus, they have excellent local beer selections!"

"The replacement at Lisa's Deli is rude and has been turning away long-time customers. I have been coming to Lisa's for 14 years because the food is delicious and the deli staff is fantastic. However, today I went to ACME Deli to make a sandwich because the new employee, an angry blond woman, was incredibly unpleasant. When I called, she immediately snapped that there was a one-hour wait. I agreed and was put on hold. When she finally returned to the phone, she told me it was too busy and suggested I call back later. In person, she is just as dismissive, ignoring customers and choosing to focus on tasks that she deems more important. One day, she even insisted on sweeping when there was nothing to clean up. Dana, the previous employee, was kind and attentive, remembering customers' orders and having them ready within 10-15 minutes. She genuinely cared about her customers. This new employee has been around for a while now, and her lack of concern for customers is evident."

"I thought this was a good diner with good people ,called up for a delivery order. A breakfast that usually cost 12.50 went up to 15 ok I got u. the breakfast took an hour the location is10 to maybe 15 away under heavy traffic,they have their own delivery service as I understand,plus the delivery driver wanted me to come out pay him 15 dollars for a order that was more than likely cold.Is this the type of service the people of rockaway deserve. When I complained to the restaurant the employee hung up the phone complaining that the resteraunt would not delivery to this end of far rock any more. Wow!! Must have been the heat."

"I'm really glad I discovered this spot in LB, especially after feeling disappointed when El Bambuco closed down. I've visited twice so far. During my first visit, I tried the Bandeja Paisa, which was excellent. On my second visit, I ordered a patacón, which is a flat fried plantain topped with various ingredients. I requested beef, but they accidentally gave me chicken instead. They offered to fix it, but I was short on time, so I went ahead and ate it. Along with the patacón, I had a sweet corn arepa topped with cheese, and it was fantastic. As for parking, there's a lot behind the restaurant next to the laundromat, and if that's full, there's plenty of street parking available. The area does seem a bit sketchy, so make sure to lock your car and not leave any valuables inside."

"Affordable generic Mexican Burger joint that never disappoints. The chicken and beef burgers, chili cheese fries, and onion rings are all must-tries. The only downsides are the service and the atmosphere, but you don't go to Hercules for that, you go there for the quick cheap food and that it does well."

"Nice staff but our experience was pretty bad.We came in and they told us to take the middle table. It was set but dirty. We have a kid, so we have wipes and cleaned it off.About 5 minutes later we got menus. While waiting to order (10-15 mins later) several groups came in after us, sat down, ordered, and got drinks before anyone came to even get our drink order.After a long while we got to place our order and requested a high chair.After an even longer while, the other groups were eating.My gf noticed where they had high chairs so I got one.We got our food. My gf 's first bite garnered this response, this is awful. Shes never that blunt.She ordered biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are pretty dense and there was a very light coating of gravy.My breakfast sandwich was supposed to have jalapeno aioli. It did not.We waited to see if anyone was gonna check on us, and then I went to the counter to order a side of gravy and aioli.A while later we got it.The bread on my sandwich was good. The egg was supposed to be over easy. It was over well. There was no runny bit of the egg.The side of fruit we got was good.The hashbrowns were terrible. Im not sure how that even happens.Overall we spent over an hour here. There was probably 20-30 minutes more than needed waiting for service. The restaraunt was busy but watching people come after us, order, and get their food before us meant we were just in some kind of limbo.It felt like the table was somehow invisible in the space, despite being in the middle of everything.There was a lot of little things that made the experience bad, however, the food was not good. Thats really the biggest thing that matters.I was shocked to have an experience like this in something rated 4+ stars.Maybe it was just a fluke, but it felt more like what Ive seen or read in 3.4-3.6 rated places."

"I'm changing my review from the other day. I went back today on Sunday and the service was Wonderful. I'm gonna chalk it up as maybe a bad day for the server and myself. Once again, the food was fantastic. The only thing I could say that could be a little better Is the country potatoes they need to be crispier and maybe some onion. I'm glad I came back. The food was Very good. I had the ribeye stake with baked potato and vegetables. Putting the butter on my potato as I went to use the pepper somebody had loosen the top and it went everywhere. I would have requested a new one. But the waitress had no plans on coming over and checking on me at all. However, she was very helpful for the man to take his order to go and also a regular. Me however, I felt like a nobody. The service will probably keep me from going back. Gonna miss the good food, though."

"This is a great little spot that's been here for years. It's a mix of Mexican/American cuisine.Drinks are well made and not watered down. "Our meal was absolutely delightful. I prefer my steak cooked well done, which can often lead to dry or tough meat, but the chef here really knew their craft. My steak was perfectly well done, moist, and simply fabulous! My husband enjoyed his chicken as well, which was also delicious. Even the broccoli was well-seasoned and flavorful. The server was courteous and friendly, assisting us with our selections. The atmosphere was fantastic. We will definitely be returning!"

"First time here with my young family and the food was OK. We got the Buffalo Wings (which are not spicy, I was expecting some spicy) and I don't recommend getting them. Hardly any meat on them. Mostly fat and the breaded coated around them. Definitely not getting them ever again. The Philly Cheese steak was alright. I was hoping it was going to be great but it wasn't. I don't recommend. Now, what really was a lot better than the wings and the Philly Cheese Steak were, Eggs Benedict, County Fried Steak and Eggs, French toast combo and Chicken Parmigiana were pretty good. The only staff we encountered was Angie and she was so amazing! Seriously, wow!!!! She was so nice and welcoming and friendly. "Large portions for sure. I got the French toast with bacon and eggs combo platter with coffee. French toast is of the thin type which may turn some off. They were good but I prefer more fluffy type. The bacon was awesome and the eggs were good. I got a side of hash browns but that was a mistake. It was enough for 2 large portions or 3-4 people breakfast side. I ended up leaving half a French toast and more than half of the hash browns as I was stuffed at this point. The restaurant is clean and bigger than it looks on the inside from the outside. The bathroom was clean. I was expecting maybe 3 workers at 7:20 am but to my surprise they had way more people and workers inside than I imagined. Dawn was my server and she was great. She checked on me frequently without being overbearing and this is something I do not see enough of in restaurants nowadays. I would highly recommend to check this place out."

"Home made thick tortillas. Outstanding. You can taste the corn. Rice is fluffy and great. Beans delicious. Been there twice so far. Chicken enchiladas with green sauce and with red. Heavenly. Tacos hard shell but still soft enough to not crack. Perfection. The service was really good. Friendly and helpful. Been twice so far but we'll definitely be back. Oh, and no sludge belly after affect that many places have."
