"As I pulled up to the drive-thru, a recorded message played over the speakers. Since there was a car at the window, I was about to back out when someone finally came on the speaker to take my order. I could hear laughter in the background, which felt quite rude, but I decided to order anyway. I hadn't had a chance to look over the menu yet, so I asked them to hold on for a moment. The response was less than pleasant.
When I inquired about the chicken sandwich combo, I felt rushed. The girl at the window suggested I pull up, but I wasn't finished ordering; my son also wanted onion rings. Then she forgot to ask what drink I wanted. I pulled up and was shocked to be charged $25! That felt excessive, but I figured it was worth it if the food was good.
Another employee handed me my food, and before I could ask for ketchup, they slammed the window shut. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive-thru, I was growing more frustrated. The original girl finally opened the window and rudely asked what I needed. When I requested ketchup, she just dropped five packets into my hand, two of which fell to the ground. She laughed and made a snarky comment about what the fry cook had said. I guess he didn't realize I spoke Spanish because he told me to hurry up so I could leave. Very disrespectful.
When I got home, I discovered that the bread on the sandwich was stale and had an unpleasant yeast smell, forcing me to throw the bun away. The fries were hot, but some were undercooked, and the ice in my drink had completely melted, resulting in a watery soda. The onion rings were decent, but they only provided a tiny container of ranch dressing. I think I'll be on the lookout for a new salad place!"
