"beach music, friendly staff, chipper decoration and fast service. the kitchen agreed to cook my food in real butter on request. my waitress did an excellent work, in between it went. the gries are huge and the perfect mix of creamy and chewing. the speck comes thick cut and fleshy. the sniper eggs have this wonderfully thin texture they can only get on a grill. and they make cruel in a French toast! they come early and they could also see some built firefighters. just a question, real cream for the coffee, please?"

"What an amazing buffet!! The price was $28.00 for 2 adults with drinks. I thought it seemed like a lot of money but it was well worth it! They have a salad, soup and potato buffet. They have a very wide selection of main courses including chicken, shrimp, BBQ pork, pot roast and steaks cooked to order. The side dishes were veggies, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cabbage and much more. The dessert buffet had it all!! The chocolate cake was my favorite but they also offered bread pudding, brownies, apple crumb cake, cookies and a do it yourself ice cream bar. There were all types of toppings for the ice cream and it was delicious. Keep in mind that this is not the healthiest of foods. But if you are hungry, I can't think of a better place. The food was really, really good and the service was great. As we were leaving, I saw a sign for the breakfast buffet and I am looking forward to trying it! My only problem was that the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. On the whole, it was AWESOME and we loved it. Bring your appetite!"

"They have pretty good buffet. But this last time (July 2024) the roast beef and chicken was just with a funny taste. The grease in some of it was just weird. It has been better but this last time. Me and my friend just wasn't all that thrilled. It was his first time, he liked some of it but he said he wouldn't go back. Our server was good she even got my fruit cuz the fruit on the buffet had pineapple in and I am not allowed that, so I did appreciate that. But was disappointed this time with their food. Alot of it had a weird after taste to it. I don't know if I will go back there based on this. I was not feeling well all nite after we ate there on the 20th of July. And their selection could be a bit better. I always like their rolls though."

"Some food was good. But red peppers on everything where they don't belong. Hollandaise dill sauce (supposed to be a creamy lemon buttery sauce) was awefil and again with the red peppers in it. Idk why. As well as chicken francaise,more red peppers in iit. Did not belong and no lemon flavor. Rice a bit under cooked. Also why an orange with my lemon salmon instead of lemon? Soggy fried zucchini, please get cucumber dill sauce for it. Mashed potatoes had no season or flavor. Nothing that cant be fixed by tweaking some recipes other than that everything else was delicious. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism and not being unkind it has alot of potential ."

"First time here as I was visiting from Illinois and friend suggested we go there. Some prices are high for what you get. $17 for a small piece of quiche. That’s crazy. I did first order the shrimp and grits but had to send it back. The shrimp was overcooked and the sauce was way too spicy for me. The grits were amazing with them adding Gouda. Crème Brule was the best part of my meal."

"Remember, it's a diner!. As a college student, I've eaten my fair share of diner food. Sams has always been my favorite though. I used to eat dinner there often because I lived near by. It's incredibly cheap and the portions are huge. The staff is always friendly and they treat regulars really nicely. Remember though, it's a diner it's not a five star restaurant. The menu ranges from Greek to America. The Gyros are awesome, the cheeseburgers are ENORMOUS and the club sandwhich is enough to split between two people. The omelets are really huge too, but my favorite for breakfast are the breakfast croissants. Honestly, everything I've ever tried there has been good. The only compliant I've ever heard (from my boyfriend) was that the gravy for the beef strogenoff was too salty and not what he expected. I can't remember the exact statement, but he wasn't happy with it. We sent it back and they took it off the bill and made him something else without complaint."

"Food :phenomenal Service:phenomenal Prices:phenomenal I love going to Uncle Joe's, great atmosphere very clean and very nostalgic , some beehive hairdo's and some cars with tail fins and you'd be back in the 50's . Thursday night they do cruise nights and some Saturdays there are swap meets . The food is delicious everytime , joe has The Super Chef there who not only cooks amazing food but is also known to hop over the counter to perform the heimlich on a choking customer or two...The bus staff and waiting staff are sociable, polite, hardworking people that have always we t above and beyond...Great job to Uncle Joe and his awesome family..."

"I would rate eating out of a dumpster with Oscar the grouch as my server higher than eating here. The waitress was very unpleasant and acted very inconvenienced while taking out order. We were seated right next to the bathroom and while we were eating, staff were throwing trash bags over the deck into a dumpster below. We ordered salsa and chips and the salsa is not salsa, it’s pico de gallo. The fries are soggy and so salty I have blisters in my mouth. The food was all mediocre at best. None of the food comes with sides so you’re paying about $20 for just a sandwich that’s not even good. Overall very unpleasant experience. Save your money and go to sunset grill."

"We scoped out restaurants in the area of our fall foliage drive on a beautiful Sunday and Kopper Keg was our first choice. Surprisingly, it is not mainly a pub like the name implies, although quite an array of drink choices are offered. Rather, it is a lovely diner, very charmingly decorated in a mix of rustic and modern on the copper theme. We chose to seat ourselves in the extension dining room, which was quieter than the stretch of booths across from the counter. A sign asked patrons to let waitress know if you wished to sit in there (probably so you did not get overlooked), which we did. Our waitress was very friendly, efficient and helpful. The menu covers a lot of territory, something for everyone, at reasonable prices by today's standards. Loads of coffee choices. Our food was very tasty a corned beef sandwich and chocolate chip pancakes, and we needed a container for surplus pancakes. The only negative in our experience was that when we were ready to leave, after waiting a bit for our waitress who was very busy handling many tables, we went to the end of the counter by the register expecting to pay the hostess? manager? who left us standing there while she continued to go through receipts for a few minutes even after she saw us, until I finally asked if we could pay. Otherwise, fantastic experience!"

"Servers and cooks seem to be the problem. Raw chicken tenders, rotten lettuce, 5 people at the table, all ordered at the same time, and 1 dinner came out about 10 min after the rest. Missing sides, refused to give rolls and butter with the meals that are listed on the menu and refused to refill a coffee. The owner did take a good chunk of money off of the bill in the end. Observation: The servers seem to cater to the regulars and ignore those they don't know. This is not how to have a thriving business. You will never be able to gain new regulars like this. "I saw great cries and heard good things for a while before we finally managed to try them. I think the whole personal said hi or confirmed us sometime during our visit. the portions are large, eating is hot and tasty, the staff is great, and its a fun place to check. we will certainly try new things again. we enjoyed two portions of chips with salsa and queso blanco, a cheeseburger, swirling rings, a taco salad with very tasteful beans and fluffy rice, a children's breakfast dish with speck, extra speck instead of an ice, and two (not so) mini pancakes. can not wait to go back and try it more!"

"A hidden gem with a price point that seems almost unfair to the presentation of food one receives. The location has tight parking shared in a strip mall with a us post office and paint store etc. The restaurant is small and very tight. The tables are arranged in a big 90 degree angle or L shape with the right angle being the front doors focal point. When I went, it was very busy. We used a heightchair for my child but it was pretty tight space wise. I also felt it was a little warm in the place with all the people inside. I hope they continue to keep prices low as it was a real selling point. Not much on the .enue was over $13. Keep up the good work! I had the Linguine at Larry's and it was very good. Parking: Just a tight strip mall parking situation. Wheelchair accessibility: Doable but very tight, not the easiest place to do so."

"New Year's Eve and we had an early dinner so we could spend the evening at home. It's been a while since we last ate in the Atlantic. As Friday, the special menu was filled with fish choices. I chose the captain. The shrimp and scallops were beautifully groomed in a garlic butter. The white fish was gently swollen and very beautiful. The woman had the maize beef ruben with seafood bisque. Both were excellent. Service was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. Next time we have to leave room for the stubborn desserts. 6/28/22 Another great place to go. Don't let the parking lot fool you. There were many seats. The food was still great and the service was even better."

"I visited this restaurant for breakfast during the winter holidays of 2023. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese omelet with grits, and it was decent. The quality was comparable to that of Ihop or Waffle House, both of which are located nearby. The service was a bit slow, and there was a preacher on the TV in the restaurant. Luckily, the volume was off. I prefer to keep politics and religion out of my dining experience, so I am hesitant to return."

"I was so excited to try this restaurant. My husband had reserved a table in the dining room but were put in the room with the long bar right near the door that kept opening. There was only one other couple in this room at the time. I asked to be moved and the waitress did move us one table away from the door. My husbands drink was beautifully made. The main issue came with the food, I ordered the crab cakes and what I got was 2 hockey puck shaped gray, gritty crab cakes. They were not lump at all. I have seen the pictures on the reviews and that is not what I got. I told the waitress and she apologized and she told the chef. The chef came out and told me that no one else complained. Not only did he not offer to replace it but just walked away. I will never go back and will never recommend this restaurant."

"The portion sizes were very large. You are a little expensive $15-20 a plate, but you will definitely get your money worth. We ate here on holiday and had enough food for the next day. Not to mention it is super tasty and tasty. I would recommend this place to everyone in the Hilton head. You won't regret it! The staff was also very attentive and friendly. Would go back if I had the chance."
