"Lumpy's is a bit tricky to locate, situated beside an office building. Look for the signs pointing towards the Guatemalan consulate to guide you. With over 25 years in operation, they must be doing something right. Lumpy's is a local favorite, with a familiar atmosphere where most patrons seem to know each other. Despite not being locals ourselves, we were warmly welcomed and received excellent service from multiple employees checking on us. The food was enjoyable, the beer was cold and reasonably priced. The bar is a great spot for sports lovers, with several screens scattered throughout. During our visit, karaoke was a popular activity. The only downside was the amount of cigarette smoke, as smoking is permitted within the bar and it appeared that most patrons were smokers. We opted to sit in the courtyard to avoid the smoke and had a pleasant evening overall. For a laid-back night out at a neighborhood joint, give Lumpy's a try, but be prepared for the smoke."
