"We had a reservation for the only seating at 5:30, but we waited for a long time before being acknowledged. After finally being seated on the front porch, it took another 15 minutes for someone to serve us water and open our wine. Despite the slow service, the crab and corn chowder was absolutely delicious. The salad with fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, and homemade balsamic vinaigrette was tasty, but the portion size was too small. Our entrees didn't arrive until 6:55, making for a very long wait. We had to rush through our meal, dessert, and walk to the playhouse. If the service had been more attentive and efficient from the start, our dining experience would have been more enjoyable. While the food was very good, the stress of the evening may not have been worth it."
