"eating, service and ambiente as well as the worth were always fantastic. we were not thrilled about the day menu of the limited mother. to their credit, the personal has done the best to accommodate our suppening wishes and an salat ( whose name was on the special menu). the special menu was very good and we enjoyed our eating, which is why I gave them 4 instead of 5. we also get a garlic infused olive oil for broth. also that was not available for Mother's Day. the personal improvised however with a chopped garlic that was thrown into olive oil....but it wasn't as good as the usual olive oil. for this visit 4 stars. mostly it is a 5-star experience!"

"We have eaten here several times before and have enjoyed the food, though service has been spotty. Last night we were seated in a room with what I can only call bad karaoke and a rowdy crowd. When we go out on a Saturday evening, we want to be able to talk. This was impossible. Our food was delayed at each course, and we didn't get dinner until my husband demanded our food. We asked for the leftovers to be wrapped and for the check. We were there for 2 unbearable hours, and will never eat here again. "The service we received at this restaurant was very friendly and attentive. We chose to split the antipasti for one, which was simple with only cold cuts and two slices of provolone, but it lacked dressing. My companion ordered the lasagne, which was a good size and delicious, although he was informed that it was meatless when it wasn't. I decided on the Veal Marsala with mushrooms, which was tasty and had tender veal (something rare in most restaurants). The portions were generous and reasonably priced. Despite not being in my neighborhood, I would probably come back again."

"la piazza is a great restaurant for a casual evening, where business-loving clothing works perfectly. this evening my wife and I dressed quite casually and the dark lighting was perfect. ricardo was our server and he was excellent. we only ordered a deer and so and he stayed two times after we were served. the pace of our evening was great. one of the intangible things we like about la piazza is that they have a few courses over 90-120 minutes or can have a single course dinner in an hour. tonight my wife ordered a garden salad with grilled chicken. Apart from too many wobbles she enjoyed it very much. I ordered the crimped roasted chicken and it was delicious if not healthy. this restaurant offers a few healthy options and the staff was always very good about the opportunity to fit tweaks to its taste."

"Let me start off by saying..There isn't many better options to have Italian food in NY and that includes NYC..The service, the food the atmosphere is impeccable. The chicken scarpariello is the best i have ever had. The chicken is always cooked to perfection, sliced thin potatoes, fresh sausage, mushroom onion along with a rich sauce that is out of this WORLD. I also get a side of pasta with garlic and oil as well. Their grandma slice is GREAT. the sauce, the crust and the cheese are all cooked flawlessly. Angelo the owner is such a welcoming and pleasant guy. Our server Wilda was amazing and attentive. I can't wait to go back!"

"I discovered hair in my Chicken Parmigiana dinner, and unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've heard of something like this happening. I should have paid attention to the warnings, but I learned the hard way when I had hair in my mouth. I was really hungry, and this was the only restaurant nearby at the time. The back of the place was very dirty, and I would advise against using the bathroom, as it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. I truly hope the health inspector pays a visit to this establishment. A friend of mine recently experienced food poisoning after dining here as well."

"The food at the restaurant was delicious. I ordered the chicken Marsala for lunch, my husband had a fresh garden salad, and my teenagers had a buffalo pizza and meatball sub. The service, however, was lacking. We were initially seated by the door and then moved to a corner next to a very loud group. The staff who brought water and bread did not acknowledge us or engage in conversation. When we asked our waiter for assistance, he ignored us. After a long wait, our waiter finally came to apologize and was pleasant, but we never received refills on our drinks. It seemed like he was busy. Overall, we felt that for the price we paid, our experience at the restaurant did not meet our expectations for a visit to New York City."

"Our reservation was set for 5:15 and we arrived at 5:15 and were sat immediately and a very nice table outside. We had plans to see a show at 7:30 at a venue nearby and decided to get dinner before at Mimmo’s. We had planned to leave the restaurant around 7:00, which allowed 1 hour 45 mins for our dining experience. We did not receive our main course until 6:50, and didn’t even get to enjoy it before having to rush out to make our event. Service was poor and there were miscommunications with the staff regarding bringing us our check and to-go boxes in a timely manner, since we no longer had time to enjoy our meal. Despite the poor service, the food was excellent when it was enjoyed at home after our event. This was our first time at Mimmo’s and I am sad to say I would not come back again. The food and atmosphere were great, but the cost and slow service do not make this place worth the price or the trip."

"My experience at this restaurant was not what I expected. The grape leaves came in a huge portion, were quite spicy, and served piping hot. I only ordered them because I assumed they'd be served chilled, mild, and in smaller quantities like I've had at other places. It would be really helpful if the menu provided a detailed description of this dish so I could have avoided it. Although it tasted good, the spiciness upset my stomach since I can't handle spicy food anymore for some reason. The pizza was decent, but it didn't particularly impress me. Now I know to steer clear of the grape leaves in the future. If you're curious about trying them, I recommend you only do so if you enjoy spicy food in large portions. I could only manage to eat about three pieces before I had to switch to pizza instead."

"I absolutely adore this place! My husband and I ordered pizza and decided to enjoy it secretly to keep it a surprise from our kids. We mentioned to the cashier that we didn’t want the kids to find out we were having a meal without them, and she kindly gave us a box for our leftovers so nothing would give us away. Honestly, everyone working here is so friendly, and the service and food are always excellent! We had a 14-inch pizza with garlic knots that tasted like the dough was made fresh that very morning. "This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"I've just found my new favorite Italian restaurant in the area! The quality is consistently excellent. I've been there several times, and every meal has been delicious. I've never been disappointed. The pasta is always cooked to perfection, with just the right bite—never overcooked. Their sauces are rich and flavorful, never watery. The baked ziti is the best I've ever had, and you can tell the ingredients are always fresh. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and there's a charming little dining area in the back. "My family of five had a fantastic meal here. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was outstanding. Everyone was pleased with their meals. I had the Eggplant Rollatini, and it was excellent—big enough for me to take home a second dinner. The Chicken Parmigiana was also superb. Our waiter was attentive, knowing it was our first visit and making sure we were well taken care of. Although the ambiance wasn't particularly impressive, I highly recommend this place. My 20 children enjoyed it just as much as my husband and I did. Give it a try!"

"We ordered 2 pizzas, an antipasto salad, chicken tenders, and 2 subs. We get our food and notice the cheesesteak is missing so I call explain what I'm missing get put on hold for a decent amount of time for some guy to get on the phone and says they forgot to put it in the bag. I say no problem can someone deliver it to me? he states they didn't deliver it grub hub did. My response well grub hub didn't forget to put it in the bag you guys did. He then explains he doesn't have a driver and can't spare an associate to deliver 1 sub 10min away. Doesn't offer the return, I needed to ask for that and then was rude with his response. Poor customer service. Fast forward I eat my sub and as pictured below this is what is suppose to be a turkey and cheese sub....where's the turkey?"

"Apparently this is a Margherita pizza. Absolutely NOWHERE on doordash or uber eats does it specify that apparently fresh tomatoes don’t equal tomato sauce?? However, the napolitana pie with plum tomatoes has tomato sauce.. makes perfect sense. Not. I have eaten here before and thought the pizza was delicious, but after receiving the worst service of my life I’ve given up on this place. Whoever I spoke with told me that they’ll contact both delivery platforms to update their menu to display no sauce, but how does that help a frustrated customer that just dished out $40 on a wasted pie? I didn’t want cheesy bread with a tomato slice slapped on, I wanted PIZZA. Do yourself a favor and order from literally anywhere else. No wonder the dining room is always empty each time I’ve dined in. No way to run business. Every single margherita pizza I’ve ever eaten had fresh tomato sauce. Scammers!! "Fifteen of us went here Sunday afternoon, and everything was FANTASTIC. Our server was very friendly and on top of everything and kept our drinks full the entire time. I personally got the Chicken Murphy: the potatoes were soft, the onions were well-caramelized, the peppers had a great texture and nice kick to boot, and the chicken was melt-in-your-mouth. And wow, those portions! Large portions and so flavorful! Normally the bread at Italian places are an after thought but not here. It was very good with the meal! I am definitely going to go here with my wife on a date night in the near future. It was *that* good! Highly recommend!"
