"Very enjoyed this pizza and her sizzling garlic knot! I had a medium, cheese with Ham Mushroom. It could have been a little more well-done as I ordered extra Crispy, but crust was buttery and thin, sauce was an excellent marinara, and cheese was golden! Garlic Knots we are impressive! "I have been to Rossellini’s multiple times with good service so I decided to have a group birthday dinner there (only people). As soon as we sat down and got our server instantly regretted it!! Our server was very rude to us, wasn’t even going to ask if we wanted a drink besides water and took about minutes to even get to our table. We had to ask for other drinks besides water. Took about minutes to get our other drinks. Took minutes after we sat down to order our food. There was a couple who sat down after us and got their food before we even ordered ours! You are suppose to get bread before the meal. Had to ask times for it and finally got it after our meals came out. We were told they were baking it and had to wait on that which was fine and expected for it to come out warm. But they bread came out ice cold! It was siting there for ever but the waiter never brought it to us! We asked for the checks and took another minutes to get those! The server was so bad that someone from our party had to go behind the bar and help him! We were at the restaurant for over an hour and a half, closer to two hours! I had to ask different times and different servers for the manager to complain. When he finally did come all he said was “we are very busy, so sorry”. I even responded I know your busy and I’ve been here before while you’ve been this busy and had way better service then this. The mananger didn’t even try to make the situation better! I will never go again because the service was awful which is a shame because I’ve been there many times before and it was great and the food is also good. But the last visit made me so mad that I will never go back."

"This was the first stop of our night out with family and friends, ranging in age from 1 to 80 years old. It was an early dinner and then on to the Botanical Gardens for the holiday light show so we weren’t on a deadline. Good thing, too… we arrived at Shells Sauce at 3:30pm and due to the extreme delay between ordering and then the food arriving at our table; and again after having finished and finally receiving our bill; the experience took two full hours, start to finish. Other than that, it was fantastic. We were warmly welcomed at the door by a gentleman we originally mistook for another patron (since he was wearing a coat and hat), the menu had something for everyone (including the vegetarian, the carnivore and the baby), the food was fantastic and the mood was festive (took awhile for us to catch on that the servers were participating in an Ugliest Holiday Sweater contest with each other). I’ll be back!"

"I stopped ordering from this restaurant some time ago because the food was not up to par. I decided to give it another chance, but I was let down once again. While the food arrived quickly, the pizza I ordered tasted as if it had been reheated and was overcooked. Additionally, I ordered a chicken BLT wrap with fries, but they forgot to include the fries. To make matters worse, they got the delivery address wrong, and the driver even mentioned that this happens frequently. I ended up paying a lot for this meal and won’t be ordering from here again."

"An amazing experience- they can handle large orders, and the service went above and beyond!! It was a frigid day, but the delivery was impeccable. Pizzas were still steaming hot. Came with free garlic knots which was very much appreciated. People were seriously impressed with the specialty pizzas (had veggie, house special, margarita, grandma, chicken Caesar, and breaded eggplant)— I was asked to share the place. Good thing the delivery man left some menu pamphlets. 5/5 recommend"

"we arrived on time and we sat right away. the waitress took our drinks orders offered free beer or wine. we ordered our dinners and then gave wonderful hot from the many garlic knot. our salate came next. mixed green with gurken twill and tomato. the tomats were diceed. I liked that personally. with house made balsamico and olive oil dressing. the dinner came out at once. for 5 I was impressed. everything was served. It's not that good now. the plates seemed salty. sandwiches no problem, but the chicken parm and the aubergine and artichoke peim were. we ate it too much salt for my taste. other nice touch was that my sonny birthday I let her know in advance and they were able to buy a cake for me. it was very good. we will be back, this is our way to italy, the pizza is from this world."

"The food is wonderful. Everything that we have tried here has been good. We have only done take out or delivery so far. We have not yet dined in. Parking can be somewhat problematic depending on the time of day as there are several popular dine in restaurants in the mall as well as other businesses, so parking in front does fill up fast. There is parking in the back, but no back enterence that I know of. Service: Takeaway"

"I live in Acton and have enjoyed this restaurant near my house, appreciating their food and service until recently. They used to be open from 7 to 3, but recently changed their closing time to 2:30. I usually finish work around 2:15, so this change didn't affect me at first. However, the last few times I've tried to go, they have been closing the door by 2:20 or 2:25. Today, I arrived at 2:28 and the staff seemed frustrated. I mentioned this to my server, who then passed along my feedback to their manager. Unfortunately, I overheard the manager making a rude and sarcastic comment about me. As a paying customer, I found this behavior to be disrespectful and inappropriate. I have dined at many restaurants and believe that all customers should be treated with respect, regardless of the time they arrive."

"This was my first time dining in at Villa Barone. My cousin and I had the most degrading experience at the restaurant. Our server BERATED us when we requested to change our food due to a misunderstanding. Initially when we ordered, we requested recommendations for vegetarian pasta dishes in different sauces. The waiter recommended Primavera with veggies, we asked if it's white sauce, and our understanding was that it's pasta with white/creme sauce with veggies. He was slightly unclear and only gave us one option. We agreed and when food arrived it was a risotto in oil based sauce. Another waiter/manager happen to pass by when our food arrived and was willing to make the needed changes. However seconds later our waiter came to our table and started to berate us, claiming he made everything clear. He was very confrontational and we asked him if he was upset, and we asked to have pasta with creme sauce. He was very unhelpful in figuring out if anything can be vegetarian, we ended up sharing vodka sauce plate and left. We were not charged for risotto, however charged 20% gratuity automatically, for 2 ppl for very upsetting dinner experience. It was both our birthdays and we were shocked that management/waiter did not work towards making us another meal or check in on us. We left the restaurant wondering if we're treated poorly because we were two girls or because of our Asian background."

"This place has a lot of great reviews on Grubhub, so I had really high hopes that this would be my go-to breakfast place. I was beyond disappointed! The good: they have a digital way of placing an order. The bad: the estimated pick up times suck, and they don 't prepare the order the way you indicate in the order. The ugly: I watched the woman who readies the order for pick up touch: paperbags, a carton, several receipts, a stapler, her clothes, and the countertop ... all before putting her hands on a bagel (putting cream cheese on it and cutting it, and I 'm not talking fingertips). Bonus 1: I LOVE waiting 30 minutes to get over easy eggs, soggy toast, and canned corned beef hash without the crispy crust top- especially when I ordered over medium and specifically asked for the corned beef hash to be cooked well done so it 's crispy. but hey... to get over medium and the crispy top on corned beef hash, it 's supposed to take over 30 minutes, right? Bonus 2 conversation: Me: How much longer? Woman: 2 minutes Me: Ok, bc I 've watched several orders go out before mine. Man: Do you have a menu Woman 2: Grubhub JUST sent this to us. Me thinking to myself: yeah, 25 minutes ago. Me outloud: No. Grubhub is the reason I even knew about this place. If you can 't handle a Grubhub order that got me here, why would I come back? AND...What I 'm grossed out about is Woman 1 touching stuff. Man: but ma 'am, she 's not touching food. Me: YES, SHE IS. Man: no, she isn 't. Me: I WATCHED HER touch then touch a bagel. Man: *walks away* Woman 1: *goes back to readying bags* Is it all bad? no. Just know what to order: you can get bagels muffins quickly. As for me? NEVER AGAIN."
