"Very disappointed! This used to be my favorite place in the world! As a kid this was such a treat. If mom brought home Belmar we knew something good was happening and we were celebrating. It’s tragic that you have completely lost that special touch that made you Amarillo’s best bakery! You have gone so cheap cutting back on everything to save and cut corners to the point of losing customers you have had for over 40 years! A thumbprint cookie should have icing in the thumbprint! I guess you have two year olds, putting the thumb print! My gosh stop being cheap.!!! it’s icing it can’t possibly be that expensive and if it is maybe that justifies you charging what you charge! It used to be buy two dozen cookies you get one for free now you get it half price. come on Belmar do better! Consumers are NOT going to put up with this forever! By the way, you have to actually put a thumbprint into the cookie or your icing tends to fall off! Just a tip from someone knew how the old Belmar was!Also, I have memories with my mother find us napoleons. I have tried them several times, and every time I buy them here at Delmar. They are old and not even edible. Please do better. Some of us have been loyal to a fault otherwise I wouldn’t still be coming here. Please care about your customers again!!!"
