"If any restaurant qualifies as a Neighborhood Gem, it's The North End at 4580. We've been going there since its inception and have never once been disappointed. The best way to describe it, I think, is comfortable. James and his team always make you feel welcome from the time you walk in until you leave. It's a well-run restaurant: Wait staff are well trained, the menu changes with the seasons and James pays special attention to the wine list, which features interesting wines at good price points. Boulder doesn't have much in the way of patio dining any more; however, 4580 has one of the best patios around. We highly recommend 4580 to anyone looking for good food in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere."
