"I made the reservation and noted it was for my birthday. When we arrived and said our reservation was made on Open Table for Jacki, they took us right back. I know it usually takes a min for most restaurants to check and mark it that we came and it didn’t seem like they did that. When I checked my email, it stated I did not show up for my reservation. I checked the box that I did show up. We arrived at 8:05 for an 8 pm reservation. Since it was my birthday, I was bummed that our table wasn’t as nice as I would have expected for a special occasion. It was very dim lighting and I had to use my flashlight on my phone to read the menu. A candle on The table would have been nice. Other tables had candles, just not our section. My boyfriends drink had dish bubbles in it and we asked for a manager and she brought out a new one. We asked our server to bring an extra shot of Makers 46 and she never brought it. Everyone was friendly. Just a little disappointed with some minor details. I would go back to give it another try."

"This place is a hidden gem. The food is fantastic! I've tried almost everything and it's all packed with flavor. It's always perfectly cooked. I never fear experimenting with a new dish... Lately I'm trying to eat more vegetarian dishes for dietary reasons and this establishment has some great dishes that won't leave you feeling deprived. It's all so good! Love the atmosphere, and the staff are kind. My wife and I love to swing by every time we visit the VA nearby. Highly recommended!"

"Server brought check to table and never even asked if we would want coffee nor deserts . When a few ppl wanted their left overs wraped up, he placed them all in one container . I wouldn't normally Care but one person has allergy . When he was asked why he did this, he had no answer . The stuffed shells where served luluke warm and the Alfredo sauce(side pasta) was cold. Do not believe this was a good day to go there. The place was not busy, we where one of 5 tables and we sat down for dinner at 6 pm on a Tues . I felt bad for the person who recommended this place, she was also there"

"Everything is excellent, super hot, and fast. Best Chinese food around. They actually read all special requests and never make a mistake or forget anything. They give you every possible option when ordering such as choosing sauces on the side, choosing from a variety of different sauces and levels of spiciness, and the option to add or eliminate ingredients in a dish. This is the best restaurant in the area on Doordash hands down for accuracy, quality, and price."

"Rib eye steak was terrible. First one undercooked then, full of fat and gristle. Scallops were good. Filet tips were just ok. The booths down the center of restaurant are very uncomfortable and the fake candles running along the top edge were annoying. Service, however, was excellent. That may have had to do with the fact that they were at half capacity? Probably won't be back."

"My coworker and I ordered lunch specials from here for the first time, and let me tell you.... I HAVE NEVER TASTED CHINESE FOOD LIKE THIS IN YEARS!!!!! As soon as you walk down 7th ave you can smell the goodness from a mile away. When you walk in the atmosphere is so cute homey and welcoming. Service is great and quick for a very busy resturant!!! We both got the chicken and broccoli lunch specials (add mushrooms with plain fried rice and a wonton soup. I dont even know where to start honestly. The wontons are so fresh in the soup they just melt in your mouth and the broth is so clean and soothing. The chicken is so fresh and the sauce and the way they seasoned everything is out of this world. The rice is not the typical yellow fried rice , its fried brown in sauce and IS SOOOO GOODDD just like the old days. Wow 10/10 best $14 dollars we 've ever spent. "We arrived abt 12 mns late but it was not a packed restaurant so we were able to w the help of a young tall gentleman, snag a table on the porch screened in Just in time for the sunset! It was so ugly out but all of a sudden the sky turned a gorgeous shade if pink, purple orange red for the setting sun! We had Amy for a waitress she quickly took our drink order we sipped our yummy cocktails chatted watching the sun out the back big open view go down. We then ordered a round of oysters on the half shell a mix of diff cold water the tuna sashimi salad. Amy was great spot on w my few custom requests wasabi extra lemons w oysters a special raw custom salad as entree. She was also not intrusive read that we wanted space but was always ready to grab another drink, or paper napkins, etc Loved the night of great food, drinks a nice helpful friendly waitress. PSS For some reason the nxt day, i rcvd a notice from Opentable that I missed this reservation??? I guess The young man at the front when we came in forgot to check Off my reservation— as being present accounted for… he had asked my last name and if i had a resrvtn so, i emailed w Opentable it was supposedly righted. Just an FYI"

"We have not visited The Tin Fish for a few years. There were only 2 wait staff taking care of the dining room on a Saturday night. This caused the waiter to rush through the ordering process. They did not explain the specials. Food runners were great and friendly. The prices were quite high in comparison to others, about $10 more. What was suppose to be Jasmine rice was plain white rice. Disappointed- we will not be back."

"By writing this, I hope it reaches the right people as I share our experience. We have been coming to Rockport for years therefore we decided to try something different this trip. clean restaurant, great view, and friendly service although that doesn’t account for the horrible food and crazy prices. The food was by far the worst out of the restaurants we have tried in the area. For the price to up charge and add shrimp to our pasta, I was shocked to find the shrimp were tiny had absolutely no flavor. Also not to mention an up charge on any protein to go with the pasta. After our experience we all began to feel sick on our drive home. We Didn’t feel well after hours of being nauseous. I hate to leave reviews against restaurants but sadly this is a place I will never recommend or return to."

"BE AWARE: they honor reservation But not for the table you reserve. We reserved a Booth thru Open Table, but upon arrival were simply told all were full, hostess staff said reservation didn’t guarantee seating, so we could either take the available seating in sort of an outside room or stand there and wait for a booth, but they offered no time frame, didn’t apologize, and were indifferent to our frustration. Server Kelly was very good, Triple Tail excellent, Hogfish mediocre."

"Specifically said we didn't want a hi-top table with a little one, but that is where we were seated. Server forgot to put in one of the orders...all the rest were delivered and we waited for the last one...a filet...it was butterflied to cook faster...arrived and was barely edible...then the wrong bill was brought to the table...the correct one still had the filet on it...would have expected it to be removed given the mistakes made by the server and cook. Will never go back."

"We made reservations here for a birthday celebration. The service was very poor. The waitress was inattentive and we waited for drinks and to order food. Then, when the first course was brought out, they forgot it for one of the guests and we had to flag down someone who wasn’t our waitress because she was nowhere to be found. Then we got our meal and they didn’t bring out one of the other guest’s meals. Two drinks were ordered as well. We flagged down another wait staff (still not our own) and had to ask again before the meal was brought out. We also never got the two drinks. We were all done by the time that meal came out. The manager was approached and she seemed irritated that we complained about the service. None of us are complainers, but the service for such a nice restaurant was really bad. The manager comped two drinks they brought out after the meals and walked away. She had been walking around but never checked on us. Neither did our waitress. It was very odd. With that said, the food itself was tasty when we finally got it at different times. Would be reluctant to go back here as there are many other restaurants that have just as tasty of food and have better service. All of us are full time residents and know of many other options for good seafood with better service."
