Some of the items we tried were quite different from what we usually get at other Chinese restaurants, so it's wise to inquire beforehand.
On the positive side, the restaurant uses fresh ingredients, and the staff member at the front desk was friendly and patient while we placed our order. They even called us to let us know when our food was ready. The restaurant was also clean, and we got our food to-go.
Regarding the dishes we ordered:
**The Okay:**
- **Lo Mein:** The noodles were good, but the overall flavor was lacking.
- **Chicken Wings:** We expected plain, deep-fried wings with soy sauce, but instead received battered wings. They tasted alright and were fresh, which is a plus.
- **Egg Rolls:** The pork filling was good, but the outer shell was chewy and crunchy—too much wrapping before reaching the filling for our liking. Some might enjoy that texture, though.
- **Beef Chop Suey:** This was acceptable but mostly bland.
**The Good:**

- Fresh vegetable ingredients (a huge plus)
**The Bad:**
- The beef dishes were all soupy, while we anticipated a saucier consistency. It might be helpful for the restaurant to ask customers if they prefer it soupy or saucy. Additionally, asking if you want carrots and baby corn could be considerate, as some people may not enjoy them.
- There was no homemade sweet and sour sauce with our meals, which was a disappointment. Instead, we received single packets of duck sauce that tasted off.
- I requested extra ginger sauce, which was notably the best sauce from the dumplings, but it didn't come.
- **Szechuan Beef:** This dish was bland, not spicy, and included shredded beef instead of sliced. I was really let down, especially since it was supposed to be my main meal.
- **Beef Mushroom:** Again, this was very brothy and had more of a soup-like quality than sauce. While I appreciated the abundance of vegetables, the family member who specifically ordered it did not.
In conclusion, we spent a significant amount here and received a generous number of fortune cookies, which was nice. However, we had hoped for rolls with our dinners and instead got a lot of white rice, which is perfectly fine. Unfortunately, most of the dinner items, particularly the beef dishes, were big misses, leaving us disappointed."
