"It wasn 't very busy at the moment and we were placed at the back of the establishment. We were handed these menus that looked like they have been used for many, many years; literally falling apart... yet, charming in its own way...? When you examine the room, it looks ancient. I really wonder what the place used to be before they used it for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was knowledgeable, swift and very pleasant to converse with. I asked him how long they have been operating at the location and he replied Over 30 years . We ordered the Spicy whole fish. I asked to have the heat turned down. I 'd imagine that if they had prepared it the way they should have it 'd have delivered that unique, tingly spice that pepper corns are known for. For me, it was very mild. My buddy thought it was still a bit spicy. Regardless of our personal opinion on heat level... it tasted pretty good. Thinking that just a fish wasn 't gonna be enough food for us, we also got the Young Chow Fried Rice. Well, that fish dish could have been a meal all in itself. The fish was covering a bed of glass noodles and Enoki mushrooms. It all played together well. I found the sauce so tasty I mixed it in with the fried rice, lol! It was quick lunch and I am not gonna lie, we went in expecting lunch specials. They do not serve lunch specials in house. Take out only."
